I have a question, I planted a whole potato,in a pot of soil,3 weeks ago, it was growing large,so I planted it in my small garden, and it is pretty tall now, how will I know if its ready? Ive never planted vegies before? Thanks

The plant will flower then later turn yellow and die back. That is when the potatoes are ready
