Finished my cuke trellis enough for them to get climbing.
A few 2x4's , a 1x6 ,a 1x3, and a 2x2 for the framing . Used 14ga coated copper wire for the the webbing.

Finished enough for them to start growing on .... but I plan on weaving another color into the web of a design you can see when there's nothing growing on it ...hmmm what to weave??....wife said , a BIG snowflake ! grin...man I love her kissie

Also plan on adding something up on top yet too ...just not sure yet.

Today I think I'll be staining the ground timbers to define each section and to make it look more neat and clean grin

Thanks everyone , glad to share thumbup

Now I just want to see them cukes grow on it!, they seem to be growing slow tapfoot why

Didn't get to the staining the other stuff yet . With rain within 24hrs in the forecast, I didn't want to chance it washing off and contaminating the plants.

Very nice trellis! I went cheap this year and got extra tomato cages to put over my cuke plants. Thankfully they didn't mind. They're climbing right up!
I just started seeing flowers on them this week YAY!

Your trellis is def inspiring plans for future projects thumbup I gotta tell ya it looks a million times better than a tomato cage anyday grin Can't wait to see ur snowflake when you get it woven!

If the vines arn't too tangled and long , you should be able to move them ...very gently. A 2nd person to help would make it even better.

We use to move our pumpkin vines around when they went wild.
