Half the plants I bought this year died. I'm really hurt by that. So I was wondering if there was anything that will survive. Below 32 degrees in the winter, over 100 degrees in the summer and month long droughts? I'm thinking I'm stuck with cactus.

Once established, plants like yarrow and agastache love heat, will stand long periods of drought and are very cold tolerant depending on the cultivar.

I'm not ready to put in cactus just yet. I'm just not fond of things that bite back. lol. I've heard that the yarrow is very aggressive but I'll look into the other one. Thanks for the heads up.
