I hear you. I still have 3 trees to take down in the driveway bed. Chop up the two that are down. Then mark the trees on the property I want to keep and start in cutting down the brush and saplings that I don't want and putting brush killer on the stumps so they don't grow right back.

What is it that you use on the stumps to stop regrowth, Tammy?

Thank you. I looked it up. Eraser weed killer has the same active ingredient as Roundup. I use Eliminator from Walmart with the same active ingredient.

probably the only difference is that the eraser comes in a concentrate.

No, both the Eliminator and Roundup are slightly higher concentrates. Thanks for the info though. I hadn't known about using it on a fresh cut tree or shrub. That will come in handy for me and returning weed trees I deal with.

What is Eliminator?

The eraser for normal brush killing is like a 1 to 8 ratio. Not what I would consider slightly higher. Are you sure your looking at the right stuff?

Eliminator is Walmart's brand of weedkiller using the same basic active ingredient, glyphosate. Its concentration is 41.9%, Roundup concentrate is a couple of percentage points higher and Eraser is 41% glyphosate. I have not seen Eraser available but I want to compare the cost.

I will be if they aren't too far gone. I have to find them and see. But I will be transplanting many as well.
I will also purchase onion sets this fall for winter growing.

I just put in my new crocus last fall & my daffodils are finally mature enough to flower so I am good for this fall.

I did spend a good piece of time looking at bulbs today though.

I think that money spent on Madisson is surely money well spent. The bulbs can wait....as the rhyme says "Babies don't keep". Madisson wil be grown before you know it--so "doing" & buying for her now is a good thing---I know I envy you.

I will not be tempted, I will not be tempted, I will not be tempted...this mantra never works. Where did you look at bulbs?

They also had 2 bushel baskets full of 2010 seed packlets. If I had of been alone I would have sat down & gone thru them to see what was worth buying---The packets were clearanced out at 10 cents per package. thumbup
