Sweet dreams, Carol. I did watch H 5-O. But only because there was not much else in options. I quite liked it. They did a pretty good job developing a story off the old one and building relationships between characters. We will see if the quality continues or goes downhill (as a lot of shows do).

Good morning!! It is 66 here. They say it is going to be 90 today-- This weeks weather is it is apparently the last hurrah of summer.

Today I have ceramics and tehn I have to take my MIL to teh eye glass place to get 2 pairs of her glasses fixed.

Thanks ladies!! yes that weather is unreal isnt it??/ They say it is the last hurrah of summer--but we often have this---and it is not even the "Indian Summer" I used to hear so much about when I was a kid....

about ceramics--I had to work hard & long years ago to get my family to NOT ask me to do things on tuesday mornings---but they (& my DH) have finally come to a place of understanding where it is concerned. Rod wouls very often ask me to do stuff & ask that it be done on a tuesday morning---(he loves contrl) so I would day nope--not unless it has to be then & no other time---

I think having 'me' time is a great idea...

Ov er the years I have stopped doing things jsut for fun but make primarily gifts & items to donate, that I would be doing anyway.

Today we are having ice cream & cake for the ladies son that has taken over for her. His BD was last week.
I am bringing the drinks.

I'm sure there will be plenty---come on down......
we will have iced tea, & dixie cups (individual ice cream cups) also

BTW: it will probably be my lunch.......

Have fun...I've got to get a start on my day..laundry galore. Washing baby's 'next size' clothes.

Just finished putting away teh clean dishes out of the dish washer & the dish drainer. I hand wash a lot of my dishes.

Tam I am with you in Suds World today. I have a mountain of laundry also that Max just gave me last night! He did the load of his school clothes himself and then asked if I'd do the rest? Of course I don't mind as I love doing laundry, but still.

Carol eat something nutritious also for lunch! along with that yummy cake & ice cream.

Gee ladies, don't work too hard on those clothes.

merme that was my point on the cake & ice cream---I will have no time for lunch, unless I can find something quickly at my mom's. so I am lucky that they are having this today--- Since this sys glass thing HAS to be done today, I have to go straight from ceramics to my MIL's to pick her up & drive her to her eye glass drs---so we can sit & wait to be called in to have her seen. No appointments at this drs place just first come first served. Then there is a banking stop---If I am lucky I will get done in just enough time to take her back home for her supper & then get home to cook Dh his supper...

are we having fun yet???

Pack a sandwich, Carol, and a piece of fruit, and eat on the run. Plenty of people eat in doctor waiting rooms...

The laundry is never ending...seems like each piece of baby clothes is a different color and needs to be washed separately..whatever happened to the days of yellow and green sleepers?

In for 5 while I grab an early lunch...it sure is windy out there, must be from the hurricane hitting Newfoundland.

Good morning. I'm feeling a bit better today but still weak and run down. Headache doesn't want to leave me yet. I'm thankful that that last couple colds I've had have been very mild and of short duration. Amanda's really sick, she's home from school today. Poor girl. I have butternut squash soup for lunch. Hoping to make it the whole day at work today.

I hope he purchases also, Tamara. I'm home and pretty much in for the day. But thinking of a nap.

Dinner is over and we are in Homework zone again while I tidy up. It was a beautiful day here today and we are at 65.

Maxi was very entertaining at dinner, telling me funny stories about all his teachers he enjoys so well.

Tomorrow half of the freshmen class is going out of town on retreat for the day. Maxi goes tomorrow. Next week, the other half of the class goes. It is a "Cheverus Casual" day, so jeans are allowed & no ties and blazers.

I did much sewing, cleaning, organizing and cooking today, so I'm done.

Tamara hope you make a sale.

me I am exhausted--but if I go to bed now, I wil be up at 3am all rested & ready to go-----

I rested for about an hour. No sleep. But sometimes just stretching out my bones is all I need

"They" say that rest is best right after sleep.

I am getting my son ready to hit the hay soon so I can. Right about now I am grateful I didn't sleep during the day.

Dante decided I needed to be awake since it was raining & storming---never mind that Rod was still home & could keep him safe----so now, here I am---all is quiet now, but yet, I am here & awake---

Morning..my computer is acting up. I turned it on this morning and the date was back to the time we bought it in 2002 and now my Antivirus is missing. I did a system restore and nothing helped..cr@p.

Busy today..Madisson came for a sleepover last night..and she's being a spoiled baby this a.m., she won't leave me put her down.

Got a call for another job interview. Hopefully one of these interviews pan up to a job sooner rather than later....

Oh and sold a cow and a calf last night...back on track once again.

Tina----gee you are the busiest woman I know--well, actually, I think you and tamara are tied for that position. But gee, you two sure are always doing something.

Tamara--glad the computer is fixed. It makes me angry that we have some to depend on them so much and yet, they do things such as your is doing to you--unfair I say----

About Madisson---sounds as if she is trying (successfully I might add) to take over Grammy & Grampy's house.

Fantastic about the sale of cattle & about the call for a job interview. I have all but given up on that idea. I do wish you the best of luck though.

Someone needs to tie us to chairs so we can rest..

Carol, I've given up on the job search also..I was still waiting for the part-time position at the end of the month at the quilt shop(if she can arrange enough people for quilting classes to pay my wages )

Oh well, it doesn't hurt to attend the interviews...something will work out soon I hope though.
