Good morning everyone ---it is a cool 61 here right now--and I think it is only going to get like 10 degrees warmer---give or take. I am going out today to buy myself a small electric skillet--just for fun---and will try to do more cleaning.

Good morning! Tamara, sorry the job was so hard. Take care of yourself kissie I've got my usual busy Thursday duties today. My co-worker is freaking out over the possibility that this years la Nina is supposed to be the worst in 55 years. That said, they are right about the weather maybe 50% of the time. I'm not too worried. We'll probably get some good windstorms and there will probably be flooding in the areas that have rivers. Or, they will be competent wrong and we'll have a mild winter. We will just have to wait and see. My coffee is just about gone so it's off to work I go. See you all later !

Yes, I prefer El Nino years most of the time. I hope this is a mild winter for all.
I got busy right away today with my loppers. But need to get out my pole saw to complete my tasks. I figured breakfast was in order first.

Man, this city is really getting paranoid. They are already having plow drivers get into their trucks and run some drills. They say they want to be ready for the worst. I guess that's a good thing but I really hope that it won't be necessary. Anyway, had a busy but very productive day at work today and came home and made an easy dinner. Aros offered up that we go have a date night tonight since I'm off tomorrow. We haven't gone out on our own since the kids starting living here full time. We both want to see Devil and we need to pick up some wrist things from the music store for the girls and the music store just happens to be practically across the street from the movie theater. I'm excited! It'll be good for us both to get away even if it's only for a few hours.

The table candles are lit, the coffee is ready, I've got potatoes steaming in the pan waiting for the eggs and Strauss waltzes on the stereo. A perfect morning! Rise & Shine! Come and Get it!

Yes, I am sure there will not be an English exam here, Carol; it is just that bad grammar grates on the ear like music played out of tune. So, I like to try to do my best! Even if it isn't flawless, a well-turned phrase can still be pleasant.

I am thinking of going back to bed again too for a short while. I had another rough night -- up every hour or so. But I also have a busy morning before leaving for dialysis, so I may not have time to rest.

I was trying to add some levity Merme-- bow
Besides, sometime your fingers just wanna type what they wanna type.
I hope you get a nap this morning--but then I guess you will get to sleep at dialysis, so that will be a good thing incase you do not get a nap before hand, right???

Heading back to sleep myself now.

See everyone later---wavy snooz

No house cleaning for me. I need to stop and shop for a few things after I take my son to school. Then home to pay bills. And shop online for some more things. That will eat up my morning. With maybe some breaks to go out and rake. Fall is wreaking havoc with my nice, clean, fire-safe space.

Good morning everyone. The movie last night was good but short. No house cleaning for me today but I do have laundry to do. But that's not until after I drop the kids off at school, go to a doctors appointment, hit the pharmacy, and get my allergy shots. I only slept about 4 hours last night so I'm sure there will be a nap in between laundry loads. The girls have an extra busy schedule today. They've got a swim meet then a football game to get to immediately following. We probably won't see them until around 10pm. Have a great day everyone!

Hi all,
I was up and running this morning.. got boys off to school.. Joe off to work... then went to C's new house an started setting up bathrooms and linen closets for her... thats done- they delivered her new bed- leaving parts at the warehouse... so they will be back this afternoon to finish that... dtv people are supposed to be there too to hook up dish and new boxes... Jon is setting up his desk and office computers so they can be hooked up to internet today too.. I will go pick up boys after school and wait for phone call to let us know it's good to take them over there- they still have a lot of stuf to move yet... wish I could do more but not good at lifting - can sort and put away though- 2 flights of stairs should help me get some exercise too... good thing she is off next week - will be able to help her do stuff then... 6 people have a lot of stuff!
Well off to get my last stuff done here- gotta fix some snacks for boys too...

Good evening all..sorry I haven't been on much. DD and baby are here for a few days as well..my mom has a bad flu and they are taking refuge here fidget

I was in the hospital yesterday, they wanted me to stay today but I had to come home...they think I have Crohn's disease. rolz I am awaiting appointments now for another specialist, surgeon and a MRI scan. I had to quit my job, the doc wanted me to take two weeks off and it wasn't allowed in my contract so here I sit once again. Oh well, extra money is no good if you're dead. neener

Hoping all is well with everyone, I should be back to my normal morning visits and chatting by Monday...prepare yourselves haha

The tropical storms have passed out of our area after dumping a ton of rain & high winds all up the coast. Today we are at 55 and ohsosunshiney! The forecast is for more rain tonight but for right just now, it is a beautiful day in the neighborhood.

Good Morning,
It has been a busy time .. kids are about 3/4 moved but we have a slight problem... Jon's grandmother who has been in a home for Alzeimer patients had a stroke, she is unconcious now and whole family is with her.. so 2 friends of theirs and Joe and Joseph and Joseph's girl friend finished moving heavy stuff.. got rest into garage and living room at old house.. landord there is having carpet people there today.. carrie went over and did as much as she could last night .. I stayed at new house and got kids to bed in family room...their rooms aren't ready cause we couldn't wash bedding, have to get someone who can change out the washer and dryers.. may just use old ones today if ziu have to... heading over when I get a call.. she needs to be with Jon as much as we can manage.. but has to be out of the other house by tomorrow... so going to get other dd and her son to come help too... and whoever else I can get to go... have to get boys room's set up too .. they need the stability to continue...
Well off to get my last pills and get moving..

Oh gee, Sherrie! Could this already difficult move have gotten any more complex?! I'm sorry y'all are going through all this. Hopefully you'll be able to rally enough helping hands to get 'er done quickly. We will remember Jon's grandmother & the family in our continuing prayers.

Prayers for Jon's grandmother. That did put a hitch into all of the moving things. I am sorry, Nana.
I have been up on my roof cleaning out gutters and litter in general from the roof itself. I want as little burnable around as possible. We are into our fire season but have not yet had our normal wind issues. They will come.

Good morning! I slept a good 12 hours last night! I never sleep that much but must have really needed it. I did a lot yesterday on only 4 hours sleep and I never did get a nap. Feeling pretty good today although my calves are a bit sore. That's not so bad though. It means I used my muscles a bit differently than they're used to. Got the coffee made and Aros and I are both sitting on the couch on our computers doing our own thing. All I have to do today is laundry and I think I'll read my book also. A nice, relaxing day for me. I hope anyway. The girls have a swim meet this afternoon. Yesterday they were very tired and hungry when they got home from the football game. They didn't know that they were going to have to stand for the entire game and they thought the shoes were a little uncomfortable for that much standing. They played well though, although the football team lost big time. Just how it was when I went there, too funny.

Sounds like a tough situation, Nana, my thoughts are with you and your family.

Carol, men, they just don't make sense sometimes.

Tina, hope you are able to get a lot done today before it gets too hot.

Merme, good morning! How are you doing today?

Tamara, have a good weekend and we'll see you on Monday. Hope everyone is staying healthy.

Lynn, Hi!

I may be done for the day outdoors. It is not so hot as it is humid. I'd rather have hotter with less humidity. But I am happy with what I have done. So the day was not wasted.

It is just about 4 PM so I am going to get the chicken in the oven to roast. I have a ginormous oven roaster stuffer & it is going to take a while.

Maxi is outside with his friends enjoying the beautiful weather.

All of the big autumn fairs are underway around the state. It is a lovely time of year. Many of my farming friends here enter the contests and show their animals, produce, and made goods.

For those of you who follow the Church Calendar, this Sunday is the Blessing of the Animals in honor of St. Francis of Assisi whose day is October 4th.
