Even if you have to put on an alarm to remind you, it is worth training yourself to take meds on a new schedule when needed. Set the alarm on your cell phone or your kitchen stove or microwave. There are ways for you to remember.

And after what you've been through, are you really planning to be taking MIL all over the world any time soon? YOU have to come first, dear.

actusally when they sent me home they said I could drive--& I have no mobility restrictions.
I am going to take it easy for a few days so teh insision of the heart cath can heal well & so I can adjust to my meds--but other than that all is good.

I didn't mean I was concerned about you driving, Carol. I meant the exertions involved in doing for your MIL. Yes, and do take care of those incisions. I'm glad things are well with you.

We have a sunny day here but only 33 degrees. I am going to have to re-think my outfit I had planned to wear tomorrow for our outing in the park. It will not be warm enough if it stays cold like this.

I was up & down all night with a bad cramp in my ankle so I am going slow mo today. Now it is time to cook up Maxi's breakfast. BRB

Joe is off the weekend- which is weird in itself... so this will be short- I have a little meds container- week at a time... but did have a big one for the 3-4 times a day one for my Mom... I am still only doing once a day so it is easy for me- just the waiting after one to eat or drink is a pain... but important to how it works so I am doing it... in fact just called in my refills... LOL!
Tam you are such a good Nana - keeping babies is a lot of work- I am glad ours are older now and more self sufficient ... even clean up there own messes (when I remember to tell them too at least).
Well I need to go take my second round of meds and then get in shower... Joe says we are going out for breakfast but I hear him still snoring up there... maybe shower will wake him up...LOL!

It is so good to see you, Carol. I am not a first thing breakfast eater either. But I do eat breakfast, just later in the morning. And lots of fruits and vegetables to grab throughout the day.

It snowed right up to a 7 minute drive from here, we lucked out. Strange to see half our settlement under snow the other half not

I have been trying all night to finish a book I am reading.....he keeps at me---and I am going to lose it yet-----THIS is how I expected him to act at teh hoispital---when he is upset he trys to control everything & will not like or agree with much that one does. it is how he "deals" but I do not need ti not now-----

well I should really explain---DH is like this--when he is upset he needs to control other things in his life--so he is lost with me having had this so he is trying to control what he can with what is going on with me. he is the one out of control here & he sees it as me being the one---

but I have been getting thru this for 30+ years with him, & I will get thru this as well.

Hi everybody!

I have been so busy today it is not even funny!

Max's friend Dom came & stayed the night & that is a good thing to keep Maxi company when I can not do as well.

I did talk Maxi into letting ME cut his bangs -- for the first time, ever, he has a "Mom cut"!!

But his bangs were so long, they were below his eyes & I just wanted to trim them so he didn't have to tip his head back to see anything. He said they were "cool" that way. I said they were "dangerous"! So I got some tips on bangs cutting from my neice who has cut her boys hair all their lives & now they are college age & handsome, so I figured she knew how to do it. And, I'm happy to report Maxi's bangs came out perfectly! YAY for a Mom Cut!!

I also had to mend a new blouse which tore before I even wore it for the first time. Poor construction at the factory, I think. I want to wear it tomorrow so sew it I did.

I spent a long time with AVON training courses online & I also spoke w/ various family members today at some length.

Geez, I have been a busy me!

OH my----teens and their hair----so sorry--but hey he did after all let you cut his bangs---so its all good.

Good luck with teh AVON--I used to buy it all teh time--and I was fond of using it as part of my stocking stuffers. I have not done it in years.

Good morning. It was a wet night last night and looking at more today. Very unseasonable and nice. Except I could use it a little warmer.

That sounds nice, Carol. I just lit my wood stoves for the first time this season. We are dipping into the 40's at night and mid 50's during the day. With damp and rain spitting. My bones are objecting to the damp cold. So it was time to warm up the house a bit.

K, I have been so busy...back for a few.

Tina, our area was divided into three communities(strangely enough)many years ago.. a little village divided by a settlement then the same village continued on the other side(confusing I know), they merged the two 'villes' and settlement into one and put us into a civic community with one that existed before from further away(what a mix up). Needless to say that we still consider ourselves to be a settlement because our old area was so small and only family lived in it. My father lived on one side of the village, my mother on the other and DH lived in the settlement. So it now makes DD related to everyone that lives here

Aros lit our first fire of the season when I wasn't even home. Brat. We did have one the other night and we"ll probably do one tonight too. It's blustery, wet, and miserable outside. Our first storm of the fall/winter season. I keep getting chilled and it's hard to get rid of a chill once it hits. I'm at work today, slow Sunday as usual. Pretty soon I'll go up and give the receptionist her lunch break.

I do the same..ask him if he wants me to visit so I can do it to him
