Muffins and ham, huh? You guys are certainly busy in the kitchen this AM. All I did was eat a Fortune Cookie.

Wrapped more gifts and still haven't made coffee.

Maybe I should do that, wake up better, and think of something else to eat besides the other three fortune cookies on the table!

It snowed much during the night. If my attendant comes, we will grocery shop.

My sister in OH sent me TWO wonderful nightgowns! One is plaid w/ reds & greens and the other is plaid w/ greens & blues. They are ankle length, have full length sleeves, and zip up the front. Snuggly, soft and very warm. Perfect for Maine winter nights.

sadly they are not coming along---I wrapped giofts l ast night instead of making the oatmeal cookies--the bqaking will have to get done today/night6 after I finish wrapping & cleaning.
Good news is I have already been up a bit over 30 minutes.

Cindy--the ham sounds wonderful----eat some for me--I will not b e eating ham any time soon (to much sodium in it)

Hawaiian muffins huh,. Dodge?? you will have to post the recipe down in the appropriate place---that sounds like a winner to me---

Plaid is the in thing this year.
I bought me a plaid sport type coat for christmas.. Am loving it .

Good morning. Emma is a most wonderful Christmas gift. I bought myself new sweatshirts for Christmas.
We are not doing a large gifting thing this year. I got my kids new blankets and pillows and socks. Ted is getting new dvd's and Jonni some books. I gave all my adult children checks as well.
I got some friends and neighbors some of their favorite alcohol. Keeping it simple.

Christmas means family togetherness.

Emma is helping our family this year . i am regaining my confidence.

I never got out of the door today.

The state nurse who visits once a year was supposed to be here at 9. She called & said she wouldn't get here til 10. Her visit takes 1 1/2 hours. Then I had nonstop business calls. So I ran out of time. So I sent my attendant and I'm hoping with all my heart she does it all right as today was a day of complex errands.

My landlord is coming to FINALLY fix the kitchen sink, dishwasher & disposal. They've been broken for two months.

And Maxi's big gift is being delivered so his friend Dom took him to his house so he won't see it.

I'm just about finished w/ wrapping now.

Good morning. Good gracious, Merme, you are as busy as ever. I got to work very late today. I took a pill to relax me and help me sleep so I had trouble waking up. Lots of work to do today, see you all later.

Maxi's present was delivered & I've got it all wrapped and pushed to one side. He will be able to tell what it is but at least he won't see it.

I ended up going back to bed this morning. So nice to be able to do so.
I have to bake brownies today for Jonni to take to her boyfriend as part of my Christmas gift. I will be sending a bunch of other food with her as well. It is nice to be able to do that as well.
I need to haul in more firewood and clean out the stoves of ashes as well. That may be my total agenda today.

Hi all, DD keeps hooking up her computer to my modem and I can't get on here with her computer..but I am back for a bit.

Too much for me to post on but I did catch up and read it all. I am feeling tired today, but feel a bit more 'stress free'. Baby had needles yesterday and is still a bit cranky today and her leg is still swollen(poor thing) so not sure how long I have to chat here.

I hate when a baby has to have shots, Tamara...especially my grandbaby.
I had to take Brenna for shots once when he was about 3...I cried worse than he did ...and he cried pretty bad.

I need to de-stress.
...maybe when someone opens a new Coffeehouse without the "Cindy is not having fun" I'll feel better.

I got all my work done for today. Tomorrow I will decorate the table & put the new candles out. I have green, red and cream tapers for this year and that should be pretty. I don't have any greens but I do have some pointsettia, so that will be lovely also.

I'm still waiting for some final deliveries & I hope they get here! If not, that will just extend the festive days a little longer and that is never a bad thing.


The crocheting is good tonight.
