yea it is--not that I am watching any of it---I DO wish there was a way to know when the commercials were on. Now, THOSE, I would love to watch. I don't usually like commercials but for the superbowl commercials I make exceptions.

My satellite went out an I cant watch any more..

Good morning! I'm cold today, not sure why.

had my test today & then had a meal that was not that high in calories but my lordy it was almost 3 days worth of sodium (for me) But good golly I loved it !!!!!!

OH!! forgot to mention---

I did not have breakfast nore did I have supper---so it was a 1 meal kind of day.. :wink:

I had supper...and it included mashed potatoes and baby lima beans. YUM!

ah real food--sounds yummy !!!!!!

I'd say 2 bites of those salty mashed potatoes was enough to kill me...better up my BP meds.

I had rice pasta with apple chicken sausage, mushrooms, and goat cheese. Haven't eaten that in a long time and I love it. I'm posting from my nook, I absolutely love this thing. I'm already on my third book and it hasn't even been a week yet. I gave away my treadmill today. Couple of guys, who I highly doubt eill ever use it, csme and got it and while they were here they offered to take our old water heater that Aros hadn't taken to the dump yet.

Pretty much, but only the nook color. It's pretty much like a tablet with a touch screen.

For web browsing, pandora, and downloading books, magazines, etc., yes on wifi. Once your books are downloaded you only need battery to read them.

Hmmm...sounds interesting. I'd like something so I could get on the forum when I am waiting in the doctors office...seems like that's where I spend a lot of time with nothing to do.

That's funny, in grade school I was always the short, dark haired girl with glasses. After I started wearing contacts I was just the short, skinny, dark haired girl, lol.

I've had a Nook for a year and have about 100 books on it. Some of the books were free and most of the others were under $5.00

It has been mighty quiet in here today. I am just marking time until I can put my son to bed. And then myself.
I did very little outside today. And really very little inside.

I have days like that--but sometimes they can do a body good--so I hope you got to enjoy the rest.

Mom just told u s last night that she is going to have some minor surgery on thursday--so today will be prep day for that--well after I go to therapy.

change of plans---I will not go to therapy--I will ride my bike here----Valarie is coming over today to go thru her stuff in the basement----and we need to talk--if I go to therapy I wil be gone for like 4 hours--and that will not work---I should have gone to a closer therapy.

I plan on doing the same thing today I did yesterday...stay in the chair.

A chair is good, Cindy.
I took my son to school then came straight home. Went up on the roof to clean and resettles a smoke stack. I must have left it cattywampus The last time I messed with it. And then I went out to bring in wood. I still need to haul more wood in but need a breather from fighting the wind gusts. And maybe something to eat.

Cindy--I hope that chair is so comfortable that you sleep like a baby.

Tina--I hope everything goes well tomorrow.

I will get up with my DH at 4am--get ready to leave & go with my mom & my sister & brother for when my mom has her minor surgery done.
Then I will stay with her a few days until she is comforable staying by herself.

I will be around as I can---so until next time....

Thank you...I have been in the chair most of the day. I have coughed so much for the last few weeks that I messed my intestines up (again) and am yuckily sick and in some major pain. I'll be at the hospital tomorrow and hopefully back tomorrow night.

What happened to the good old days when all I did was fall all the time, get my hair sucked up in the vacuum cleaner and broke my toe by dropping a margarita on it?

I am so sorry, Cindy. I wish you could go back to just plain klutzy and not so sickly.

Yeah...I liked being just plain klutzy...I had the whole persona down pat...I guess because I started in grade school and never changed too much. Short...long, stringy, straight hair...John Lennon glasses...the class clown...voted most likely to end up in an asylum. I liked me the way I was!

I'm not complaining, though...I know I am blessed to still be here. :wink:

It was supposed to snow "accumulation less than one inch" last night, and it way surpassed that. Guess I'll go outside and make sure the stray cats have plenty of food and water, and put suet and seeds out for the birds in case I'm gone all day tomorrow.
