Helping the world one seed at a time When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant. Mary Ann LaPensee

I am in zone 6a (Thanks Joclyn for helping me figure that out) I have wild violets that I have transplanted to one of my flower beds here at my current home from the "farm" we used to live at. They are done blooming now--but were beginning to bloom around Easter. The violas I have planted with them have not bloomed yet----I am beginning to think I should not have combined the 2---the violas seem to spread much faster than the violets.--oh well I guess I can always take out some of the violas.
