Ted just takes the clean ones and puts them in with the not so clean ones. I guess I'm lucky.

At least Sparta is dropping the dirty ones into the floor tonight. Last night it was the clean ones from the dish drainer.

Hello All. Hope everyone is well! It's been a busy week of work, and dentist appt and doctor appt and all that crazy stuff.

Got mulch on the garden today. We've been having so much wind lately that it keeps getting thinner and thinner. The temp is 97 today so I'm sure my plants are happy with the extra protection from the heat.

Yesterday, my husband and I went for a long drive up ion the mountains. It was wonderful. Lots of wildflowers and native plants. I actually took pics to put on here to see if anyone knew what some were but they didn't come out. One flower actually looked like a smaller version of a columbine? And there was a beautiful bush everywhere with white flowers that made me wonder if it was a type of viburnum.

Anyways, we had a wonderful time and talked about goin back soon and camping overnight. Course camping nowadays involves a mattress in the back of the truck under the camper shell. My body is too old to sleep on the ground anymore I tell ya. I still have over a year til I hit 40 but my body often feels like I'm 70. Oh well, I'm sure we all have our fair share of issues.

Sorry for babbling! Hope everyone had a great weekend!!!

Pamela~

Whoever said gardening relieves stress wasn't talking about the first year of a new garden :)

Babbling is wonderful, Pamela.
It probably was columbine. Those grow wild all over the US. Not sure about your white-flowered shrub.
I am 60 and still like tent camping. But with a cushion under me.

If I ever go camping again on the ground I will be taking a Tempuredic memory foam bed with me... lol (...and since I don't have a Tempurpedic I don't think you will see me camping anytime soon!)

Yes, it was padding like that I was talking about.
I am tired and a little achy. I put in some work today. Trying to make up for all of the cool weather I missed earlier this week. We are to get hot and muggy this week.
I will see everyone tomorrow. Good night.

I am an insomniac and I was finally asleep after 6 days and nights of being awake...and he woke me up 15 minutes ago attacking my face.

My camper had a king sized bed--but it was a regular mattress..then the girls had a regular full bed----no bathroom--but there was a cook top & a fridge.

Rod had asked the girls which they would rather have a camper or a boat--well A/C won out---we got a camper--- haha

supposed to be a high of 94 here today--

lots to do--so I am on my way---I wish everyone a good day.....

I am also too old for this. I went out to move sprinklers and stopped to pull weeds on my way by. Temps raised more than 10 degrees in just an hour. I have been spoiled by the mild temps we have had. My coolers are going on today. .

Hi everyone wavy It's kind of weird with the kids gone but it's only been a few days and doesn't seem like they're that far away. I had a really rough time in my race yesterday. Turns out I was coming down with a cold. It's not a real bad one so I'm thankful for that. The kids are supposed to go camping while they're in WI. They've never camped because DH doesn't like to. I've only camped in tents or out under the stars. I don't think I could handle it now.

It would be the pits if it were actually like summer outside. Feels like fall so a cold seems appropriate. I shouldn't complain though, I know many of you have had bad heat.

I am sorry you have the cold, Cheryl. That is the pits no matter what time of year it is or it feels like. I hope it passes quickly for you.
The heat across the continent has made the national news and I am feeling for all of you. It is mild here by comparison. I am grateful and know my time is coming.

Yep, Bill, that sounds about right. It's raining again, low 60's. I'm in sweat pants, a long sleeve shirt, and a fleece jacket. Lame. But, like Tina said, many people would wish for this right now and at least the weather is fitting for my cold and I don't feel like I'm missing anything.

One of these days when I win the lottery and get rich I'm gonna move back to Washington...I absolutely loved the weather there.
(Don't worry, Bill...I don't buy lottery tickets...) lol
