I also was telling my oldest daughter that I had to toss out my Potatoes because they were old men. She asked what I meant and I told her. "Soft and wrinkled". I gotta remember that one!

I am very glad to be able to cheer people up sometimes.
I have been buying booze this week. I have bought two sizes of tequila, 2 types of wine and a bottle of Jack. None of it is for me. There are 3 birthdays in a couple of weeks and one of the tequilas is for the party. The others are for gifts.

I think it is illegal to send booze though the post office. I would be afraid to try it (again). I am a scaredy cat.

I think it is illegal to send booze though the post office. I think you are right... I went to Richmond a few days ago...so I'm stocked up til my next doctor appointment. I remember back in the old days forum members sent me Jim Beam quite a lot....you guys made me what I am today  .... (gotta blame it on somebody!)

Jonni dusted up and took one of John's Wild Turkey decanters to LA with her this time. She asked if I thought she should take them all. I told her that I wasn't sure how this move was going to work out and if she got upset and moved out in a hurry, she did not want to have more than she could handle in a trip or two left behind there. Let's wait and see how mature these new roommates were. There has already been one argument between her boyfriend and his best friend there.

I think that was a wise thing to say Tina. When Jonni is older & she knows she is staying where she is at for at least a time, then she can take all of her keepsakes--- so now I am thirsty AND hungry !!!

so now I am thirsty AND hungry !!! Well, that Jim Beam BBQ sauce was some GOOD stuff! I cooked chicken on the grill and used it....YUM!

I didnt realize the time--I am going to say goodnight as well..
I have to take my bone medication (it is in an epi pen) then I think I will eat some pseudo-popcorn & watch my soap opera.

 Good morning, everybody! Another beautiful day here, 66 right just now. Maxi came home last night from his time away and it is so good to have him back! He'll be leaving again on Tuesday for summer camp, so I intend to enjoy this weekend to the fullest! We are hoping to hit the beach tomorrow. Yesterday was a mad dash from early morning until about 6:30 PM when I collapsed on my bed and slept, hard. Phew! Today should be better but still a bit busy.
