dodge nope, I do not "really" like schedules, but they sure do like me---I always have one it seem-- I was so pleased with yesterday--no schedule no responsibilities no chores, no work nowhere to be--it was "GREAT". right now "in class" I am finishing my 5 snowmen. I am down to decorating their neck scarves & painting in their eyes. today & tomorrow back to "schedules" oh well such is life.

....something like that...  Our male snowman also had a wife...she was well-endowed, kinda looked like Dolly Partin. Rachel was about 13...she was soo embarrassed...

Why am I sitting here with headphones phones that aren't attached to anything? I have no idea why my dear... hey you all--I am at my mom's--spening the night---she took a trip to the ER this evening & after they gave her pain medication that was way too much for her tiny body they sent her home--  --so my brother & I decided that she should not be alone for the night. Tomorow my nephew is going to come & relieve me because I have running to do with my MIL. we are hoping the stuff is wore off by the morning or at least tomorrow night. lucky me I had a paper in my suitcase that has my username & password on it for TGH---isnt that just super????

-she took a trip to the ER this evening & after they gave her pain medication that was way too much for her tiny body they sent her home-- Junie, from all my experiences in the ER lately I can without a doubt say that that they give WAY too much pain medication. It's ridiculous! I mean, before they even find out what's wrong with you they start pumping morphine or dilaudid into your IV. No wonder the waiting room at the ER is always full of drug addicts. A month or so ago I was at the UK Med Center ER and they kept me there for a day and a half, gave me a huge dose of morphine every 2 hours. Then....they just let me walk out of there when I was ready to go!!! I couldn't hardly even stand up, let alone drive myself home from Lexington. Hope your mom is feeling better today!

Good morning. I have never had pain killers stronger than aspirin or tylenol from a hospital. I did from a dentist, though. (Thank-you!)

My computer kept shutting off this morning so I tried to take a nap...impossible with animals and phone. Why do people message 5 times when they can just call and get it the hell over with in 30 seconds?

Guess I might have been in a little bit of a bad mood earlier when I typed that.  Went to my neurologist awhile ago...when I get there they tell me they don't take my insurance I have now. So, I re-scheduled and went to the pharmacy to get my prescription filled from the gastro specialist I saw in Lexington last week. Insurance doesn't pay for it...it's $235.  Needless to say I didn't get it. When I get my new insurance the first of the year I will go thru the process of whatever I have to do to get it paid for...I have to have it. My new insurance will also cover the neurologist. Medicaid went to "managed healthcare" and the one they stuck me with doesn't pay for jack...so I am changing to the better one on Jan. 1. Got some soup beans on the stove and some Mexican Cornbread in the oven...YUM! I bet I have company tonight for supper! Les won't turn down this meal.

Hope your mom is feeling better today! Thanks lots yes she just really twisted & strained her muscles overdoing. So now she has muscle relaxers & pain medication to help get her thru while she does NOT do any reaching, stretching or lifting until she heals. She goes to her DR in say 6 days to be rechecked. Sorry you do not know my mom--she will do all of the above unless we are all there to watch her. Why just this morning she stretched to get a book of stamps while I was standing right next to her... Good news is she has all of the excess medication out of her system---now if we can just keep her from over medicating herself----

My day was different.
I baked 5 pies
apple
raspberry
peach
an 6th one is smalll apple
Will freeze them till saturday, my guest is coming to bring me material.(Clothes material)
So I am going to smother her with my own homemade food. 2maro I shall make Currant jelly an Raspberry Jam.
These are all made out of my own pickings this summer an fall.. Freezer. I like natural .
Boy I got tired tho....25º I was out walking to get the mail.. Earlier I had the 2 atvs out to go get the paper.. Makes me sleep good. Fell asleep on the couch at 3 till 5..
My felt good.

Thanks carol, I am eating the peach ..(FOr me) I make a bunch of stuff an when family comes by I load them down.. They do appreciat home cooking. ONe brothers wife, doesnt like to cook........Nor does my sons wife. However garden an fruit in my yard makes it so much cheaper to live better. dodge

Mom sounds like she is a doer.Not sit in front of the tv all day.....Gosh that is all my familis do, tv every time I visit....Not the biggest thrill I don't think......... LIttle Haley at 5 just loves the football games. For her birthday treat she wanted to watch the Steelers after her party.........She got to choose her place to eat also. Ryans Glad you still have mom.. Sound like she is trying to keep busy to not worry of being alone. Like me. dodge

Dodge made me hungry for peach pie!  Well, I got burned getting the cornbread out of the oven and dropped the whole skillet of cornbread into the floor... Half of it stayed in the skillet so that was good...the birds got the rest after it cooled.

Yep corn is their dessert........I see lots of it in their winter bird seeds. Not many around here right now for some reason. Probably frooze to death
