Good morning. Since I gave Spartacus his Indian name awhile back ("Sleeps With Mommy") I decided to give my stray dog I've been feeding an Indian name as well. He is now "Barks At Nothing".  You are so funny! I needed that laugh.

that's funny Cindy,,  Yesterday I forgot to check the mail,, today_ I did, Finally got my First foster care check   After a year of going to required classes, many home studies,barely making it financially, watching every penny, cutting corners, getting Certified and waiting and waiting for months ( because the foster care case worker was dragging her feet  I was completely finished with everything on Sept 1st ) I can finally exhale! . Thank God,  The boys and I ( well ok not me so much  ) have been patient, Now I can get the boys the style of clothes they want just a few items,, anyway! I'm still saving for a newer better car though.  we're all doing the happy dance,, think I'll take them out for dinner today,,

When I broke my right elbow last year I like to never figured out how to wipe my [BLEEP] with my left hand. I am so not ambidextrous.

Hi all,
Was gone for a long quilt retreat and came back to internet problems....looked at the forums and felt so lost!!!!!! So much goes on it is hard to keep up when out of pocket for a few weeks. I did a foot soak earlier this evening, Nothing more relaxing then that when your feet hurt!

hi==I am havong troubles with this laptop--it is sure touchy.
I may be going home early in the mornng. My DD says it is going to snow & I had better head home if I want to go to my drs appt on wednesday--well, truth is it would be more fun to have her friend here than to have her mother--but as long as she will not be alone I guess it is alll good. I did get to make her some chicken soup and do some cleaning today so I guess I can be gracious & let her have some fun with her friend, huh???

Good afternoon everyone--I am home safe & sound. while it WAS snowing in the town where my DD lives, it was not and had not snowed here yet. I will say though that all the businesses that I was at when I did get home were all telling everyone to be safe---so I guess it might get bad...  Beth Thanks much---she is better today and since she has plenty of soup & fruits there now, she will be ok. I just worry that I told her DH that I would stay there unl;ess she was 100% well---  I guess I will text him soon, so as to not bother him if he is in a meeting..

Thanks Tina--it is snowing hard now--but the weather man said he did not think it would amount to much until the late night & possibley snow until around 2am or so---we shall see if I am going out tomorrow or not. Rod has to go to work tomorrow but thankfully he had today off.

Well, I hope they have things cleaned up so you can get to ceramics tomorrow, Carol. I am glad you made it home safely today.
We have had rain and hail and wind today. It has been interesting but too cold for my comfort.

Evening all...what a busy past few days...hoping to have things back to normal by Wednesday or so.
We are under a Freeze warning....the cold cuts the air in your lungs. Minus 37*C out.

Oh Tina, so glad it is so warm there. Sunny, so sorry it is so cold, but at least you are accustomed to it. but yes stay safe. it is currently 31*F here & it is snowing hard & heavy.  is it spring yet????

Good morning. Happy Valentine's Day. It is one of those busy type days for me. I do love being able to be a hands-on-mother in the school.
It is a cold one today. This winter has spoiled me so far so I will not complain.

Good Morning !!! :ding:  Happy Valentine's Day !!! :ding: Early this morning, my DH told me that I had bertter stay in today---so I slept until 8:30--- well, so the roads are clear & here I sit--no ceramics for me today Sad think is between my DD's sinus infection & my DH's cold, I think that I am now getting sick. and I have an important Drs appt tomorrow. Great... I will be in & out all day--you guys take care...
