Good morning. Watching the sun rise again...can't sleep. rolz
It seems all I do these days is sit in "the chair" in zombie mode...wondering why my hematologist is making me wait to see an oncologist before they take anymore blood from me. I'm kinda askeered. (spell check says askeered is not a word....I beg to differ on that...) lol

Good morning, yup I'll take pics.

Cindy, they are doing the same to DH(he has extractions also)..it's usually just because of a low white cell count.

careful of those burns, I've got the scars to prove it isn't good for you......all except for the being outside all day, I love it when I can do that. Must finally be getting nice up there?

I avoid the sun as much as possible. But love working outdoors in the shade.

I know Rod ended up with a burn the other day when he was out all day---he said sunburn I was thinking wind burn--but a burn, is a burn, is a burn after all. take good care...

and yes Tina I avoid as much sun as possible myself--I work early in the morning & in the evening after supper----

Evening all,
Hubby made dinner tonight,, grilled himself a steak and me a turkey burger.. had roasted potatoes to go with it... and corn on the cob... corn was okay but I think it was picked a little early.. not very sweet.... maybe next batch will be better...
We talked today about retireing to Az and decided neither of us really want to go - our kids all live here... his Mom is almost 95 so won't be with us a whole lot longer so we need to do what we want ... so we will stay here and probably pay off the house , if we do that we should have enough to make it okay , Joe says as long as new company doesn't try to take away to much with this contract coming up he will stick it out another 3 yrs.. that will get me to medicare and I get my small pension from ATT then too so that will help... I am really torn as to if I should take my ss early I qualify this yr or wait to get the higher amount in 3 yrs.. I have the opposite problem , my hubby is only 58 so he is further away from medicare and ss than I am... I robbed the cradle ...LOL! he has 39 yrs with the company so is eligible to retire anytime.. just wish we had more put away now.
We did our errand running today... I cleaned out the medicine cabinet and got rid of expired stuff so had to replace a lot of it.. had lots of coupons and they had a good sale at Rite Aid so that helped... then went to Target and found some pants hangers.. for some reason ours decided to all fall apart at same time so needed a few new ones to replace the ones I couldn't glue back together.. got some hair stuff too while I was there... and a new bath pillow... I like my hot baths with Epson salts and some smell good stuff to relax in,but my old pillow just got nasty so found one on sale like it... then we grocery shopped and then picked up boys - they had a half day today.. then Carrie and I went to the produce mkt ,, they honor last weeks add and this weeks on Wed so we like to hit them on Wed.. lots of good stuff... so tomorrow I am chopping ,bagging and freezing stuff.. got some greek yogurt too, had some tonight with my strawberries.. with a little agave... nice treat and mostly good for me..
Cindy got my candle lit for you.. you are in my daily prayers....

My Carrie's sil had her second Pet scan this last week and she is free and clear... ther hubby also got orders for Ga, Savannah .. think they go in August... she loved it there last time they were stationed there and her doc told her there is is a really good doc there to take over her care so she is really happy... my nephew is also doing very well, he has been back at work and got the transfer to Seattle he wanted so he and his girlfriend are in the process of packing up and moving- as he works for Homeland Security the govt will buy his house and move him too.. and give him 3 months of housing till he can find another place...

Well it's not really late now but I was awake at 5 this morning.. sleeping in has become a thing of the past lately... tomorrow is take your child to work day here so Jon is taking Timothy with him.. Derek and Nicoli get to go with Mom for a couple hours and we will go pick them up when Joe gets off... her job isn't really a place for kids- but her boss said it was okay , they are really excited about it.. first time for them...

Off to bed I go to try and read for awhile and then hopefully sleep past 6 tomorrow, we are getting rain tonit or tomorrow they say..I think we will cause I am achy now- may just go try out that new bath pillow first... .........

Late to the party. Busy day at work and tomorrow is going to be even busier. My co-worker flew to Hawaii this morning so I have to cover her job while she's gone. I have made a deal with myself to save up my hours so I can take some good time off. Good night everyone, hope everyone sleeps well.

My husband had that same question so we did ask our financial planner. He said if you can take the SS early, do so and put all of it in your 401K or and IRA because you will get more, but if you did talk to a financial planner it is a good question to ask him/her. Don't take my advice, though, I am no good at the financial planning stuff, that is why we ended up paying for someone else to take care of our 401K.

Sounds like you had quite a day!!!!! It was nice of your DH to cook dinner.....that is NOT something my DH would do. But he has other wonderful qualities lol

Things are growing so nicely and it isn't even May yet! BUT, we have snow in the forcast for Friday night rspb It shouldn't get too cold, but it is moments like this that make me glad to have a green house for my vegies!

Happy Thursday all flwr

Good morning.
My property taxes were due on the 10th. I paid it on the 9th. I keep it in the bank as long as possible. I keep the interest accrued that way.
It is a rainy day here. A fairly warm rainy day. Very unusual for us. But nice.
