Hi all,
I have been finishing up the spring cleaning.. did my carpets today.. Carrie bought a new carpet steamer and it works great.. it's heavy though... but it does come apart to make doing the stairs a lot easier...so it's a good trade I think... but sure tired me out- I took a break and went outside to sit on my swing for a bit to rest and actually fell asleep for a few minutes... I sitll have to run the vacuum downstairs to finish it up... will do it during commercials... watching NCIS now...
Joe is bbqing tonight for our dinner- going to eat a little steak and a baked tater... green salad ... he washed all our vehicles today... and I cleaned the car rugs with the carpet cleaner while I was at it- nice to have things nice and clean...
Well off to see what else I need for my grocery trip this week... the good produce store has a lot on sale so am hitting it in the morning...

Tina---I had a good time at ceramics--but when I left, my car would not start, --- the machanic said he thought it was the fuel pump, he's gonna call me when he knows for sure---I sure hope it is something cheaper....and oh, I think I got your rain....

Sunny---I am glad you got some work done & that you are happy about it, but take care of you, OK ???

Bobby, you sure sound Busy---you had better take care of you too.

Cheryl---you tired too?? there is a lot of that going around---I think we all need to start sleeping more/better or something.

Nana---when you are done with your house you are invited to come start on mine, OK ?? Bring Joe with you, he can be my cook while you are cleaning...

Good morning. I will try to get out in the yard. There is so much business going on around here that between things, I mostly just zone.

Tina..same here. It's after 4pm and I still never got a start on any outdoor work. Other things keep popping up that need attention.

My 'popping' things are getting ready for Ted's birthday tomorrow. But not really to celebrate it because he is not fond of all the things that go with a birthday. But because he will be 18, I have to jump through hoops to protect him from unsavory people who may take advantage of handicapped adults like him. Legal guardianship stuff. So lawyers and judges. He needs an ID and he hates cameras. Totally uncooperative when one is pointed his way. There are other things needed too. I'd just rather he stayed my baby, I think. I love that little dude.

I kinda know how you feel...and it has been bothering me so much lately knowing Brennan will soon be a teenager....and it seems like yesterday when he was 2 years old and I got him a little wading pool for the yard, about 8 inches deep...and he squirted me with the hose and laughed so hard. I'm so happy I have him, but bothered that he is almost grown and I am missing out on his life.
Sorry....I'm in a rather melancholy mood right now (again). Spent all day (9am til 6:45pm) at 2 doctors...I'm worn out and sick and I have to back to the oncologist again tomorrow. I about hate to post here these days because my posts are such downers anymore. I'm thinking, "Would Cindy PLEASE come back? I miss my bad self!"

OK.....on a lighter note...this made me smile today.
I called Rachel this evening when I got home (she was worried sick and I had my cell turned off because of being in doctor's offices)...she told me to check my messages. Here's the picture she sent...



She said when she saw this in the store she told Brennan "We gotta get this for CindyGranny...it's just like her..."tacky and funny".

Well....maybe Bill won't poof me (I see he's been doing a lot of poofing lately!)....and we will soon be out of this coffeehouse so it won't be here long. (How did that sound for an excuse?)

We won't allow Bill to poof you! We all miss the 'old' Cindy but we still love the 'older' Cindy too. I just would like to see you weller.

Hey everyone. Cindy, love the hula dancer. I was asleep most of the day trying to get rid of a migraine. I rarely get them anymore but they sneak up on me every once in a while. Probably has a lot do with the fact that I ate junk food for the first time in weeks yesterday.

Good morning...MSG is bad for migraines Cheryl, and it's in alot of junk food.

Cindy post away..we are here to lend an ear and see you through every bump in the road. I agree on the babies growing up on us, wish we could keep them small forever.

I think that ALL children should never be allowed to grow up--- Nothing would make me happier that to have my girls back home with me.

Took her to the bank today, I made her go in by herself so she could use the debit machine(I have been teaching her how to use it for a few months/figured it was time to see if she could do it herself). She comes out all proud that she figured it out, gets in the truck.......I then ask her where's her purse?

She left it in the bank with the money just sitting into it.

Yup, I'd rather be mopping floors.

She got her purse and money back, right? That is scary.

Yes Tina...I ran in and grabbed it. The purse was open like she left it and the $600 just laying in it. That's her whole amount she has to live on for this month.

Oh my goodness---that does sound like something my mom would do.
