New gardener here. (literary new)

WE just set up a planter in front of our house. 35' x 3'
So I have room to plant some nice shrubs and plants.

Here's the thing. I don't know very much about plants and shrubs so I'm probably going to be asking a few goofy questions. Hope you all don't mind.

Thanks..

I actually snipped some cuttings of Spireas ( 2 different types). And was going to make a cheap greenhouse out of a plastic bag. While helping my dads wife yesterday she gave me a small greenhouse.. It's not big, but it's perfect to get me started.
