Good morning.

Yup Bill, replaced the batteries when I done my spring cleaning..I heard burns like that never fully heal enough to take away all pain sensation, it must be sensitive to heat and cold.

I have to go see a dermatologist soon also Bobbie, the steroid meds I was on caused my face to get blotchy..they want to keep an eye on it now...looks like age spots in a raccoon mask pattern.

Yikes!, Bill. My heater is electric, so that is one thing I don't have to worry about. We replaced the batteries too! And also got a CO2 alarm this past spring...they gave them out at my hubby's safety class. As we burn primarily coal it is a good thing to have!

Hopefully, Sunflowers, it won't be bad, but I do know that you are supposed to stay out of the sun while on steroids... steroids, a love/hate relationship! I use a steroid cream every other week, twice a day, on my lips. Been cut there enough and so far this is working. My doc wants me to use a kemo cream come September...it is kind of scarry, I will end up with sores that scab over, etc, etc, boohoo, this would be just on the backs of my hands, one spot on my leg and on my upper chest. Then I really have to stay out of the sun. She says Sept, but I may not start until Oct. September is still mototcycle riding time! I think you are too far from where we are going, but we are going up into Canada through Idaho, then back down through Glacier National Park, Montana on our bikes in July. Our big trip this year.
Nana, sounds like you have a busy weekend planned with graduation! It is that time of year
Happy Saturday flwr

Sunny & Bobbie: That skin stuff is jsut scarry in general--take care--
Bill, I do not have to check my smoke alarms--they are wired into the electrical system. I have often wondered what happens when we have a power outage, though.

VERY hot here today---luckily we went out to the cemetary very early this morning. I did extra watering this morning too & now I am taking a break. thumbup

Mine are wired in. Not sure how that works but they are. Still haven't been feeling too good. My blood pressure is crazy, high high one day and normal or low the next. My doctor's working on it.

Belinda, I am not sure how they work either, but work they do, as I have been known to set them off periodically. lol

sorry about your blood pressure meds---my meds make me dizzy every once inawhile, but nothing I cant handle, thankfully.

We had quite the storm last night! We had't had a thunder storm like that is a long long time. The hail was small and I hope there isn't any damage. Haven't taken a walk around yet. The sun is shining, maybe the rain is over for a few days.
Happy Sunday flwr

Good morning. All summer long I wish for a little rain here and there. We rarely get much that is measurable. But I live in a desert. I did get some dust-settling-drizzle yesterday. That is good stuff.

I need some rain....I would go outside and strip down and take a shower in it right now.
I went out to make sure the bird bath was filled and clean, gave the stray dog and cat some ice water and food...cleaned and filled the hummingbird feeders...filled the bird feeder...pulled a few weeds...and my hair is soaking wet...dripping from sweat, have a towel around my shoulders.....guess I need to go get in the shower and stay inside the rest of the day. It's not even noon yet and too hot for me...I can't handle it anymore. Back in the day I was like "Bring it ON!!!!!" when we had record highs....but the only record high I want now is....well, I can't post that here..... notme

What I meant to say was it's good weather for hang-gliding.....which I always enjoy with my brother.

Well...he might not have enjoyed it too much last time...he broke his leg....
