No one one from here... people I have been chatting . emailing with since I first got on line way back in 99 or so.. Mary-El was part of that group... we had a toast to her memory one breakfast with english tea- thought is was really fitting..

I wish I could afford to go see everyone I have met online- that would be so neat to do... this was to celebrate a friends 50th birthday and we planned it with her husband and daughter to suprise her completly- that we did!

Now I am still recovering from all the walking and eating out- got up early today to watch Carrie's neice - took a nap when she did but am hitting the pillows early tonit ,just need to sleep a good 12 hours to feel back to normal.

We have hit fall big time it is a lot cooler here and our trees are turning quickly.. the have said the s word a couple times too on the weather forcast...
Well I am off to hit those said pillows.. taking a pill to make sure I sleep ...

Great to have you back Nana kissie

The air is so clean and fresh out there..one great thing about heavy frosts. Time to put the daffy bulbs in the ground as soon as grandbaby arrives this week grin My plan is to have a future gardener to help Grammie.

Another busy day here...have a good one everybody.

Good morning. I decided to put on a sweatshirt when I was up in the night. It is much cooler this morning. Not nearly a frost though. Still have another 30 degrees to drop before that happens. But cool enough that I needed a light blanket for the first time in a while. They say this will only last a day or so and then be back up to hot again. I need more time to prepare before it gets really cold out.

We usually don't get a hard frost before Halloween, here. I hope that trend keeps going because I have just started to replace the damaged part of my roof and it has turned into a lot bigger project than I expected. kilroy
Night temperatures have been in the upper 40s lately, with days running in the low 70s. Very comfortable... but I still need some real RAIN!

I hope the weather holds steady for you Bill until you get your roof fixed. THEN and only then the rains come and you stay dry and Cedar Hill gets the true moisture it needs grin

Do keep warm and dry, Bill. I have roofing repairs to make as well. I've been patching like crazy. But it is getting beyond patch by the end of this winter.

Good morning. I am very ready for the weekend and it is only Wednesday. But I'm thinking that Friday will be a day off for Teddy anyway. I'm expecting my access road to be jammed up with rodeo/scout-o-rama traffic. I am glad that is only once a year.

It's a thousand wonders I didn't rear-end someone or run off the road...trying to drive and look at the sky at the same time. It was that way for over an hour...churning. Those holes you can see were rotating upward instead of down.
