Afternoon all,
I have been cleaning my living room... lemon oiling the entertainment center and all the wood in here... takes a while but smells so good...

We had rain today for a little while... now the clouds are moving fast southwest from here and the sun it out... I found my baby blankets too so I can use them in the crib for the baby... she has her own blankie but wanted one for the floor of it... and found my quilt for the rail between my family room and kitchen area.. keeps the heat down there but lets enough up to heat the rest of the house...otherwise it all goes upstairs and it gets to warm up there...

I took Joseph to work today and went in and got a couple beef roasts and some new potatos to stick in the crock pot for dinner and one for later... they were BOGO ... smells really good cooking away in there... hope the sun stays out for a while so we can take a walk before dinner time..

Well off to finish with the vacuum and to gather laundry to do while I watch tv tonit... Joe has 3 union shirts so have to keep them clean and ready .. this working a day at a time is raising my stress levels a lot... Carrie worked a yr and a half like this so really hope it doesn't last that long!

Have a good evening all...
Nana

I decided not to go out today. There was nothing I needed enough to waste the gas. So I cleaned and cooked. And after all of that I am eating leftovers.

Good grief...almost midnight and still haven't brushed my tangled rat's nest of hair...or had a shower. I have tried to sleep all day because I was up again all night last night...and still haven't slept. I have a prescription for sleeping pills and couldn't find it...figured out awhile ago I put it in the console in the truck last week after I left the headshrinker. So, Monday I can get it filled.

Good morning. I slept a full 8 hours last night. Unusual for me. But it feels pretty good. And it is much warmer today than it has been for a few. That is energizing as well.

Today is my Grandson's Baptism. As most of the people that are attending are from around here, I have been asked to host the luncheon afterwards. hifive YAY !!!!

Showers are good. I will take mine after a nap, I think. I big pot of soup sounds good, too. I am going to keep dinner simple tonight. I've been using up leftovers and the last will be used tonight. Fridge cleaning time.

Thanks Tina--now I think I wil get at the rest of my deep cleaning now while the house is clean yet....
If you disregard the fact that my girls are at constant war with each other, & that both my one DD (the new mom) & her DH are child experts, rolz the day went well---

no left overs to speak of---
I have some bread, a few cookies, enough veggies for my DH's lunch this next week and some chips. Oh well--whatever I fix for supper tomorrow is going to be simple.

perhaps chef salads...

Good Morning,
I made a crockpot of white beans and ham yesterday... will be todays dinner with some cornbread... my house smelled really good yesterday... mmmmmm.. up early today to finish folding laundry before little one gets here this morning... the soy chicken I made last week was a flop.. didn't like it much- way to much salt too... even with the lower sodium ingredients.. thats all I tasted... so on to the next one.....

I am going to dust down here before Senika gets her today and vacuum- she is scared of it so want to do it before she gets here... but need to go get my shower before Joe gets up so will go for now and get that stuff done- back later while she is watching the wiggles and barney... good thing we kept those tapes...LOL!

Chicken Soup--yum !! While I admit it does sound better to me in the cooler weather, I could eat soup any time of year...

Good morning---I did not sleep well last night--

I was up 'sick' all night also...I have no energy at all today. Oh well,no time to complain, the work doesn't do itself.

I love soups but I guess when you have Tina's heat it's not a good thing, they do stretch the budget though..

Nana, do you ever get a day to yourself?

I do like soup and it sure does stretch the budget. And is flat out good for you. I raised my two families on lots and lots of soup. I have just been a little burned out on it, I guess. As my kids grew, they ate less of it and it left me with a lot of leftovers to eat up. That maybe what caused part of my burnout. I am fully into vegetables now. And fruit.
Waking an hour early means I'm ready to take my son to school too early. Killing time here.

Today is house cleaning. I got Ted to school and stopped to shop on the way home. Put that away and got started on bathrooms. Dishes, stovetop, and cleaned trash cans and recycle bin.
I am getting ready to leave again. I want to stop by Walmart and one other store before picking Ted up from school. A busy day. I may collapse into nap mode when I get home for the day.

Afternoon ..

I have 2 of the boys now- Nicoli didn't feel well, but is fine now... playing outside with Senika now.. warmed up nicely..Derek made it a hour and half at school... Carrie stayed with him and acted as his para ... then his specials teacher came in and he immediatly went into an anxiety attact.. not a bad one but as soon as he saw her he reacted... so now we have to figure out how to get him away from being with her... he needs the special ed classes but hopefully he doesn't have to be with her...

I have to take them all and pick up Timothy at 330, there is someone trying to abduct children walking to and from school in our area so they are not walking to or from ... or playing in front yards without us being there... the little girl that was missing . they found her dead and there has been 4 more attempts fairly close to us in the last couple weeks...scary times...

Well off to get something done before it's time to run again...
and Sunny... I get some days off... far and few between.... but I do get them...LOL!

Very sad what happened to that little girl...so scary. I pray they find who did that...and SOON.

Today has been one of those 'days from hell'. Left at 10:30 for a simple doctor appointment. Left the doctor (headshrinker) very upset...she told me she is retiring. I have been seeing this woman since 2008...how can I just start going to someone else in the office now after she leaves? They won't even know me. I am so upset about this. After the "tragic death" of my husband in 2004 I went to an awesome therapist for several years...and then SHE retired. I guess I need to start picking younger psychiatrists. My other psychiatrist is at least 70...he will probably leave me next. It's pretty bad when losing your headshrinker causes you so much more grief than what you are trying to deal with already.
I am --------> touched

Then 2 hours at the pharmacy got me major upset. Others were coming in with prescriptions and getting them filled and leaving...while I was there for 2 hours. I asked them 5 times if they had forgotten about me...."No, we're working on it". I will never go back there again. I was livid when I finally left. Thank God one of the prescriptions was for ANXIETY medication!

Speaking as a parent (since I'm not even remotely fairly normal) this stuff is so disturbing to me that it became an obsession after I had Rachel. She was never out of my sight. The same with Brennan...he walked behind a tree one day when we were working in the yard when he was little and I totally freaked, thinking he was gone. I guess it's better to be crazy safe than sorry.

I have sleeping pills tonight...thank God. I just took one.

well it looks good to me, but I had to scroll from left to right to see it all on my 17 inch monitor. I could see it all but like 1- to 1-1/2 inches of the right side of the screen.

Sunflowers, you're above me. I'm in Massachusetts. It's been cold here but warmed up the past couple of days.

I didn't sleep well last night either. I went to bed around 1, fell asleep around 2, woke up at 4 and couldn't sleep longer than 10 minutes. Had to work at 5. Yuck. I hope I can nap later.

Nana, that sounds terrifying! I hope everyone stays safe! Praying for you.

Cinja, it's not at all unusual to be upset when losing a therapist. In fact, it is rather unfair to form that relationship and have them leave. I hope you find one that sticks around longer. Don't give up on it.

Good morning...

Bill, it's an inch off on my screen but I have a Netbook.

So sad to hear about the missing children, it has always been a constant fear for me also Cindy. Better to be safe then sorry. There are many sick people in the world..and the death penalty needs to be brought back for them.

Raining here, lots of sewing in the plans for today..my mending pile is quite large.

I stopped taking my meds almost 4 weeks ago, changed my food patterns so I have been eating healthy the past three weeks...no treats except for a piece of b-day cake and all I lost was a half of a pound. Moral to this story..I ate cake for breakfast this morning lol

I got Ted to school and stopped at Walmart on the way home. I've been wanting to go to Walmart for a week and just haven't. I don't get very many items there but there are a couple. Brought that home and put away. A little vacuuming and a little dusting, trash out and to the dumpster and general freshening. Dishes are done and floors swept and mopped. Dinner is in the crockpot. And my day is ready for phase 2.
I am getting ready to take my recycling to town and drop my older son off at home. Then pick up my younger son and come on home.
After my afternoon visitor leaves, I will be napping. Unless he takes forever.

Rain has finally stopped here..at least it melted the snow.

More Fall chores to catch up on here today.

Good morning. I will have a more restful day today. Mostly because it is supposed to be over 100* outside today. I don't move so much in those temps.
But I am up and ready for my day.

Good morning--I have picked out my supper meat and clipped some cutting to harden off to send away to a new owner--having my coffee now. Soon I will be going to pick up my MIL & begin my day.

I wish everyone the best...
