Thank you.....all.
I really go off the deep end crying when Rachel leaves...I can't stand being away from her and Brennan. My tears were literally mixed with blood in the Kleenex today when I was crying. My rheumatologist told me "crying" tears were very bad for me. And it hurts really bad when I cry. But, sometimes I just can't help it...

I never knew the name of the eye disease my grandmother had (besides cataracts). But I bet it is the same as you have, Cindy. She was not allowed to cry either.

Good morning..I totally understand Cindy. I don't know what I'd do if I couldn't see my grandbaby when I wanted. kissie

Another cold morning here, it flurried all day yesterday. Winter is nipping at our noses.

Spent the whole afternoon and evening sewing a quilt topper yesterday. Had to get a start on those handmade X-mas gifts..

Wow...I just heard this on the news...
Quote
Colorado and Washington are the first states to make it legal for individuals to possess and sell marijuana for purely recreational use.

Wow again!

Good morning.
I saw that news on FB last night, Cindy. I am not a user but I have always said it should be deregulated and taxed, just like other things. Those states still have the federal gov't to fight too. But it is a step forward for sure. I am glad.

I am not a user, either, (I didn't inhale) but have been told by many people it would probably make me feel a lot better. I will say I have grown it (many years ago...Kentucky is famous for that...lol).
idea I could make a good living growing it. lol

I agree.
It's much safer than alcohol, which is legal. Alcohol makes people fight, pot makes you eat cookies and want a nap.

Yes, I was a hippie era child (class of 69, same year as Woodstock, etc). I tried it but never really got much into pot. But I certainly believe in the medical applications and for social, I prefer the attitudes it gives to people over alcohol. I also made John brownies when he was ill and it was very helpful for him.

Yeah, I've said about all I'm going to on the subject also.
I took a pretty good nap today. No heating pad needed. Our weather is cooling a bit for the week. With rain and cool winds. Rain is very good.

It rained here...good sleeping weather.
That's all I feel like doing during the day...sleep.
I have way too much blood in my body and it's dragging me down. I had a phlebotomy on the 31st and had to have another one 5 days later. And have another one tomorrow. Instead of every month it's gotten to every few days. My BP goes up to stroke level if I don't have one. The hematologist said a bone marrow biopsy is the next step. I lucked out of that at the beginning when I told them my brother had polycythemia and had a bone marrow biopsy to rule out leukemia or something else. I guess I shouldn't have watched all those bone marrow biopsy videos on YouTube...it scares the hell of me.

Jeez Cindy, You and my husband must be related. His pressure went sky high from waiting an extra week before having his phlebotomy. Lesson learned, he has another appointment today for blood work then we are off for that bone marrow testing within a month they say. Such a nasty disease.

Snowing out..Plants'n'pots sent it to me apparently lol

Good morning. And good luck to all that need bone marrow testing. I will say that my husband had that done, twice, and the procedure really caused him no problems to speak of.

It is coming very quickly for many. Dodging raindrops here. No complaints about that.
I have beef, carrots, celery and onions stewing the crock. I will top a bowl of that with mashed taters for dinner tonight.
First I need to make a run to a store I hardly ever get to before picking my son up from school.

Today has been one of "those days".
My aunt died this morning...very sad. tears
And, Lola's leg band somehow has gotten up on her leg instead of her ankle and it's a major emergency...it could cut off her blood supply to her foot and cause her to lose her leg. No vets here in this area will work on a parrot...will have to find a vet in a different town tomorrow who can deal with this.
I didn't even bother going to get my phlebotomy today...I'm sure I will regret that before the week-end is over.

winter I hate it--well, I hate all the snow & ice. I like wearing sweaters.

OMG!! Cindy, I do so hope that you are feeling better soon.

Today I went to my DD' as her DH is out of town. I made her Chicken & dumplings & 2 pumpkin breads & cleaned up after myself. Then I straightened up her back porch, cleaned her bathrooms, did some wash & cleaned & scrubbed her floors.

I have a full day tomorrow also--
sleep well everyone !!!

Sorry for your loss Cindy..why won't a vet look at Lola? I thought vets couldn't refuse animals.

You're a good mommy Carol kissie

I'll take some stew Tina.

Been up ALL night with a toothache..no vehicle to even go to a dentist if one was open, praying one is open tomorrow.

Still snowing here..messy weather.
