Oh Jesus, Joseph & Mary (that is NOT what I really want to say) !!!

The place where my DH works had their yearly dinner today to explain the health insurance for the upcoming year to them--
Well, if I died today my DH would be SOL, he has no idea how it works or what to do & in his own words he likes it that way !!! This year (which strangley enough begins on 12-1-12)_ we have yet another new (read cheaper) health insurance--and they are so kind--we will pay the same for this coverage. BUT now I have no idea which insurance plan we have with this new company nor anything else--and yes the DH brought home paperwork, but believe me I cannot make heads nor tails of it--& if you go to the web site thay provide, you first need to know which plan I need to know about, which was not explained (or my DH just cannt remember.---and I could go on but I will spare you all & I will not.

What did I ever do wrong to be put in this position--& does the employer of any of you change their coverage every year & at a time other than the end of the year ?

Thanks for listening
..we will now return you to your regularily scheduled programming. bow bow

Wow....that sounds like a bunch of BS on the insurance, Junie.
I have never had insurance in my life until Medicaid...and now I don't even have that.

Move to Washington.....my hospital bills were over a million dollars and I didn't have to pay a penny. THEN they even gave me money every month!

I have called Social Security and they said it would be re-instated...and they would send a letter. Still no letter. Called them back last week and they said the computer showed it was going to be re-instated and I would receive a letter...STILL no letter.
Only time will tell........

You need to be a lawyer to understand all of the health insurance gobblety-goop. I keep getting mail I do not understand. I understand the words and most of the phrases but they are mighty confusing to put together. So I pay the bills and try to trust the system to do right by me.
I hope they get your letter to you soon, Cindy. When Ted's came in he had been approved about 4 months before the letter arrived.

Good morning..sorry to all about the messed up paperwork and such. Hoping everything is straightened out soon.

Mild and raining..probably the last mild weather of the year.

Dentist today...and I am ever so glad.

Oh, I am glad you get to see the dentist today, too, Sunny.
Good morning. I slept well and woke just minutes before my alarm would have gone off. A very good way for me to begin. And it is a short week. Lots to be grateful for this day already.

No, it isn't against the law. And sometimes it can make you feel better and sometimes it complicates things in a compromised body. Do what feels best for you, Cindy. At least until Lola complains.

Hi Friends! Remember me??
I know it has been ages. I have sort of got off the internet thing in the past few months. Decided sitting on my arse was a bad thing all the time.
But now that winter is coming, Well I always enjoyed the nice folks on this board.
Gave up facebook 2 months ago, that was the biggest time waster ever.
>I sure am having gardening withdrawl already.
How is everyone doing? Will try to be a regular again.
Kim

Ditchy---I never go to bed before 11 pm--if I do I end up waking between 3 & 5 & then I am up for the day---& I cant deal with that long a day.

I use FB to keep in tough with family as well. The girls often post things to me so I know what is going on with them but yet they dont have to actually "talk" to me-- lol I have never played any games on there & do not ever intend to.

supposed to be in the mid 50's here today with less sun than yesterday.

Stopping in for a minute---will be back tonight.

Good Morning and welcome back Kim..... nice to see you made your way back to us....

It's a chilly morning here today ..34* right now and cloudy out there.... I will be child free today... Carrie took off cause her neices mom asked her to keep Senika over night so she arranged not to work till 6 when Jon is home to take over.. then she told her after she gave up the time she doesn't need her... will be so glad when that divorce is done and they can put her in day care.. take some of the pressure off Carrie...

I went to my doc for my check up on Tues.. got a clean bill of health- my chol went down which is good... lots of oatmeal I guess... even though I am not to crazy about it... LOL!

Well off to do the bill paying and see if I have any left.... got to finish up my grocery shopping for turkey day too... it's nice store put spices on sale and this is when I usually replace the ones I don't use very often ... and I have a few coupons to use too... I invited my former neighbor to come have dinner with us too.. her kids are going with her ex and she will be alone- I asked her if she had plans and she said she was buying a turkey tv dinner... well that is just silly so said come on over and eat with us... she is the one who rented next door and the owners quit paying the mortgage without telling her, the house was foreclosed on and she didn't know till notices were posted... the owners still collected her rent for months... some people are just so lousy... so now bank owns house and it will go up for sale eventually... hope we get decent neighbors out of it ,
Have a good day all... time to make my breakfast and get to those bills....

Evening Everyone , Hi Nana.
I am sure facebook is great for folks that have Family, Sadly I do not, and It was a huge constant gripe session with so called friends.
I got tired of reading the negativity.
So I closed the account and havent been back in 2 months.
Everyone doing Thanksgiving this year?? grin

Not me. I might get a pizza and go to dad's while mom is at her sister's for the big family dinner that I have never attended. Would get another chance to try to beat him in backgammon. He beat me last time (again). boohoo It kills me....I can have like 5 left on the board and him with 9 or 10...then BAMMM he rolls the right numbers and humiliates me once again. lol You'd think he'd just LET me win sometimes...like parents are supposed to do.

PS....I took a shower and have soft, silky clean hair now...lol

I am glad you have soft, silky hair, Cindy.
I am not doing thanksgiving this year. Ted doesn't do turkey and my adult kids are off doing other things. 2 of them are driving to Las Vegas for a Rush concert. Not sure who Rush is, myself. I should google that, huh?

Evening all,
I am almost ready to shut it down and head to my pillows... I cleaned my office today... went thru my paperbacks and boxed up the ones I will take to trade at tradesmart eventually... I could save lots of money if I would go to library but seems to be not in cards so I will continue buying and trading....

I went to the basement too for a while and found some more toys for Senika to play with a a box of little one books to have story time...didn't keep enough little kid stuff, may have to hit the thrift stores to see what I can find..

Joe is off tomorrow so we will hit the grocery store and Sams- get the rest of the stuff for turkey day... we only have 11 this year... hopefully ... the twins have colds and JR is going into asthma with it but the doc gave him a round of steriods .. hopefully in time to keep him out of the hospital this time..

Well off to bed... eyes are heavy .... sleep well those of you still awake!
Nana

Good Friday Morning Gardeners.
I am hoping our weathermen are correct in that the next stretch of week will be in the 50's and sunny. I can get some more Beds cleaned up.
HAve a great day.

Yes...I never go into the rooms or do anything with the pet. I only play one game "Tile Towers". At night when I can't sleep that's all I do. If you still do webkinz and want something let me know...I have like a half a million dollars (literally) that I will never use.

Good morning. It is spritzing rain outside. That is a good thing. Wet is very good and very rare in fall here.
