Good morning...hoping today is better than yesterday's. We spent the day running errands that never got completed because of employees who weren't doing their jobs right.

Still having stomach issues...thinking it may just be from stress.

Going to pick up grandbaby later, she always brings us back to good spirits grin

Have a good day all.

Good Morning ...
Up way to early today... went to bed and actually went to sleep by 10 last night so up at 4... can't win I guess...

Hubby is still asleep but may be up soon ... have to finish up grocery shopping today.. then have boys after school... hope to get some of the Christmas stuff up this morning ... it's chilly so have my tea kettle on already for some green tea to start my day... if hubby wakes up soon will make breakfast too..the sun is up now so he will be up in a few...

Well got to go put bacon on ... that smell should get him up if nothing else does...

Have a good day all.....

here is the menu for our virtual breakfast today....

Coffee, teas, hot chocolate too and different flavorings to go in if you like....
Assorted pastries and muffins too- I see some scones on the platters .....

Eggs... which ever way you like them... bacon, sausage... too.

French toast and pancakes- with you choice of fresh fruits....

Enjoy!
Nana

Nana, that happens to me if I go to bed earliy when I am well. If I go to bed earlier than usual--say 10 or before, I will get 5-6 hours & that i s it--I wank up to use the bathroom & then I have had just enough sleep 7 I cannot go back to sleep.

BUT if I stay up until say 11:30 or later I can sleep 8 or 9 hours...sounds to me like that is how you are....sorry... kissie

Well if it is virtual, May I have the bacon, scones, eggs scrambled, and butter and jelly. Thank you for making breakfast for everyone.

I have the best recipe for Airy Scones. I think I got it here. I love it.

Can I help with the virtual dishes?

Good morning!!! It's Friday. And I did Zumba class at the gym, Feeling great, even thought it is drizzly and gray!. >USed the new carpet cleaner machine on my Dining room chairs. It is a shock to see the dirt come out! But oh so fun. Best 300 dollars I have spent. LOL
Have an awesome day all. Bike ride with a friend later if it quits drizzling.

That breakfast sounds great, Nana.
I got my kid to school and off to the my lawyer's with paperwork. I think that is the end of that for me. Stopped to grocery shop. And I am home for a bit. I am making a chicken, vegetable and noodle casserole for dinner tonight. So the stuff is doing the precooking until I can dump it all together for later. I still need to go bone the chicken. Good stuff.

Believe me, I would rather do that! But once I turned 50 it was all down hill, if I do not keep it up and watch the crap, I will go to pot. Besides I feel so much better when I work out every day, But it is still a struggle to MAKE myself! shock

I like the idea of a virtual maid too... she has done all the dishes and put them away in our beautiful hutch... now if I could get her to come here and do my kitchen up...LOL!
I would clean before any maid got a chance to do it... I am weird like that!

I am making a pot of chili for dinner and some cornbread... sounds really good to me... even though it's been in the 60/s here.. and no snow in sight though we could really use it.. it cools down at night and says chili weather to me...

I finally got a good start on Christmas shopping today... 2 gifts down and a couple doz to go.. late start this yr... tomorrow I will hit it with Carrie and hope I get most of it done...

Well off to start the chili and bread... have a good evening all!

Chili and cornbread yum. I've been eating off a pot of Congressional Bean Soup for a while now. I have about one bowl left. If I were smart I'd do the cornbread with it. It would be perfect. But I haven't come up with the energy.

I wish I could afford to buy a couple of dozen presents. Maybe next year. After I win the lottery lol.

It's so cold tonight and windy..brrr.

It is worth a try at least...

I would like a real maid as well. Just to vacuum and dust. I'd do the rest.
I had a long day and am seriously contemplating my bed.
Sweet dreams all.

Good morning. Except some fine details, my Christmas is ready. I only need to shop for Teddy's gifts and I am stumped. There is nothing in the world that could trump his iPad. He lives and breathes for that thing. I am looking, though. And if he does not receive much, he will be happy. That makes him both easy and difficult.

McD's certificates are good. And that is what I tell family members to get Ted. As well as a list of specific videos that may interest him. He really is easy to please and that makes him very difficult. He loves opening gifts. So for him I wrap even when I may not for everyone.
I ate oatmeal with blueberries for breakfast and washed up the dishes. I have laundry going. Not too sure what is next. I could vacuum but I am hoping that virtual maid will show up.
The sky is lowering outside for the next round of wet. I am not complaining. Every drop is precious.

Hope you get a soaking Tina lol

Calling for a bit of snow tomorrow, strange weather so far. It snows then melts...

I love getting Christmas decor as a gift, I'd never buy it myself so it's a real treat.

I tried a nap on for size. But it didn't fit.
My older son called me and asked if I really wanted to get rid of the hospital bed. I did. He has a friend who needs one for his nephew with bone cancer. They came up and picked it up.
I am thrilled that I have that space empty in my house. And that it is going to such a good cause. We had two that fit together to make a Cal king bed. We gave both of the ones we had away before but one came back home. John used it during his illness. And I have wanted it gone for a while now. Now I can rearrange the deck a little more comfortably.

I've been trying to remember my Photobucket password for over a year. I finally answered the secret question right and it said a new password would be sent to my Hotmail account. So, I then could not remember my email password. I tried to answer the 'secret questions' so many times it locked me out. I mean, come on!!!! What kind of trick question is "Who was your favorite teacher?"

I swear, it just took me 25 minutes to change a light bulb. That sounds like the beginning of a bad joke....

Oh Go ahead Carol, I got it by searching Photobucket.
There are a ton of cute ones!
Cindy, I know what you mean, I used to think I had very few varieties of pass words, well it turns out I have a bunch. And I never write them down. So if it is not the standard two I use, I am sunk!! why

Hi everyone. Been a while since I've popped in here. I finally cleaned up my veggie garden today. Took out the stakes and tomato supports, along with what was left of the plants. Looks like a nice, clean raised bed now. Got most of my laundry done, did a little bit of shopping but I'll have to go back and finish after dinner. DH needed the car to take the girls out to the DOL to pick up their drivers licenses. They passed their test yesterday, they are officially licensed drivers. Went for a run today, starting to get back into that again and it feels good. Things seem to be going back to normal and it's been really good on my mental state.

Evening all,
Spent the day Christmas shopping , but got almost done... so thats out of the way now.... and I got to spend some quality time with Derek this evening , the kids went to downtown Denver to see the lighting of the courthouse and parade, but Derek with his not wanting to go out in public or ride the train down town with a lot of people opted to stay with me.. Carrie got him a gingerbread house and a gingerbread man to decorate so we did that....they came out really nice... he loves to do crafty stuff...
I also got his birthday present today too... a box of art supplies and 2 tablets of drawing paper.... he put that on his wish list ... so know it will make him happy... and it will help keep him busy too.... hopefully the therapy doc will call carrie soon so we can get that set up for him, he needs to learn the coping skills to help him control the anxiety...

Well off to find some dinner.. didn't start a crockpot meal like I had intended to do so.. Joe may pick us up something when he goes to pick up Joseph at work....
