Good afternoon. The sleet is melting nicely. Should be in the 40's today.

Hope Diane is doing better.

I was up most of the night coughing. I'm going to try and take a nap. I dread it though because it seems as soon as I close my eyes the cough worsens.

It has been a very long Saturday. So long that it feels like Sunday. At least my boy is better. The fever is down but the deep cough and some digestive issues remain. He has been a happier person today and so have I.

Good grief...I guess everyone is going to get it this year. There's too many weird germs out there...that's one reason I am a recluse.

Just cut half my finger off, fixing to thread a needle and sew it up. Done that many times. I even have a special spool of thread for it.

OMG...I only got 2 stitches in and it hurt so bad....I got the Super Glue to finish up. Now The Super Glue is stuck to the bandage.
I'm finishing this in the morning......

Cindy, as funny as that isn't it made me laugh. Hope you can get the threads out of the bandages out of your cut. When I first got my Rachael Ray orange knife, the only sharp knife I've ever had evidently, I just about cut my finger off. Hurt like the dickens. Super glue works.

We shouldn't be allowed to have sharp objects.

If I couldn't have sharp objects my family would probably starve. And I wouldn't be able to make my jewelry. Otherwise, I'd be a-okay with that idea.

Most of us learn to be careful. Of course it is via painful lessons.
I was a recluse the best I could be given that I drive my son to school and have to shop for the family sometimes. But it still tagged me. I'm it. But so far it is doable. We will get over this in due time.
Meanwhile I am going to bed.

Sheri, I have an etsy shop online. Junie, have a great time with your grandson! I really don't want to go down and do more laundry. Sigh, I can't get out of though.

I am glad. Cherish every minute. I miss Brennan so bad I can't hardly stand it....was with him every day til he was 8 years old...now he is moved and 13 years old, and I have missed his "growing up".

I used to love to do laundry...now I only have maybe 1/2 a load a week. I miss it. I should go begging at my neighbor's house for laundry to do.

Cheryl, I look that up. Thanks.

Cindy, I like doing laundry too. My childrens friends still talk about coming to my house and me immediately taking their coats and tennis shoes and throwing them in the wash.

Junie, the time does go by so fast. Have fun at the party.

Tina, glad you're feeling some better.

I don't mind doing the laundry, it's the putting it away part that I'm not that fond of. However, the laundry is finished and put away in record time. Cleaned my room and reorganized my desk area.

I like laundry too. But I am glad I don't have to tote it up and downstairs.
Today I am not doing laundry. I keep laying down and then getting back up again. I am very surprised it is not dark and nearing bedtime. I am ready for it.

I took a nap earlier and slept til freaking 8 o'clock! That's an hour past Lola's bed time. I won't be able to sleep tonight. boohoo

Oh, and the stairs, especially right now. I'm beat. My foot is sore. I don't feel like taking a shower tonight so I think I'll try to knock myself out early and take a shower early before the kids.
