How sad on the news this evening a 3 yr old got hold of his fathers gun and shot himself, how tragic I don't understand why adults can't be more responsible with weapons in their home.

Unbelievable all three boys are asleep, Tre was asleep when I got off work, and still is,Julian fell asleep around 7 right after he ate dinner, Breyton fell asleep around 8. Grandma has quiet time on a Friday Night, this is a FIRST!, Miracles never cease to happen in this home Even Both dogs are asleep

I cant have the chocolate concoction tonight--I have a battery of blood tests in the morning---- Its not gonna be pretty when the Dr reads the results---so from tomorrow afternoon to next wednesday, I am gonna have a good time eating...

Good morning. I slept in very late for me. Today is cleaning woodstove day for me. And chimneys. I will be getting grubby.

My morning plans, now that I have cats and Lola fed, is feed the strays, drink my Ensure and go to the chair for awhile.

Well, I haven't gotten any of my house work don YET!

Did get some clothes washed and hung up though.

Hi everyone..hoping all is well with y'all. Finally got all the storms cleaned up....well until the next one hits Wednesday or so.

You know, you would get mighty tired of buttercups after a while, Sunny.
I got my stove cleaned out. I hope it can breath now. Too much smoke, not enough heat.
I still need to climb on the roof and check out the chimney from the top. But it was clear in the bottom couple of sections. All the dust has been vacuumed up. I bought additions for my vac to get into tiny nooks and crannies (meant for dryer vents). It has been a big help. I keep purchasing interesting wire brushes and brooms to clean it up too. I really rely on that thing.

every one must have been busy today,,, I was a little bit, got most stuff done BLT for dinner tonight,,

I haven't been busy All I've done is read and play, instead of doing my housework, which I had promised myself I would do.

I had cod fish for dinner.

I started a pot of ham and mixed beans, let it simmer all day while I slept. I couldn't eat any supper...will have an Ensure in a little while. Taking the pot of ham beans to mom and dad tomorrow if I feel like getting out.

It was a beautiful warm day here, all I did outside was take a bag of trash out and feed the strays.

ham and beans I haven't had that in forever,, I've got a taste for it now.

it's supposed to be nice and warm but windy tomorrow here, then cold the rest of the week.

I love a good meal of ham & beans. BUT my DH does not like them, so as a result I have never learned to cook that dish.

I either just eat canned northern beans or convince my family to share when they make them---NOW I am hungry for them too!!! I

I'm just sick of the whole winter thing!!!

I have not had the flu in probably fifteen years. And had never had a flu shot.
This winter my doctor insisted I get the shot....a month later I got the flu!!
What's up with that??

Good Sunday Morning....

We have about 8 inches of snow now and it's still coming down like crazy... kids are hoping for a snow day but don't think that will happen... had a pretty good night with boys... poor Derek had been awake for 24 hours , crashed when he got here at 4 - slept till ten and then at 1 am asked for a pill to sleep.. now he is asleep and it's almost 10.. I was up till he went to sleep too... so now going to make breakfast for them and see if he will wake up to eat... so far Nicoli is good.. he ate dinner last night and wasn't sick so thats a plus....
It's his birthday today... he is 8 .. having a small family party for him later on,will do a party for him when he can actually participate in one.. has his scopeing on Tues so hopefully it will show something they can actually fix..

Well the 8 inches turned into a foot.. and since it blew like crazy it it drifted up against my patio doors too... it's a mess out there... and cold.. pty was canceled for Nicoli - noone needs to drive in this unless they have to/// it's a mess out there..
we will do a party next week for him..

I am so tired today.. not enough sleep.. but can't seem to go back to sleep now anyway... will probably hit my pillows early tonit.Not much into Oscars anyway..

well I remember there was a time they were there--then awhile when I saw jsut boxes with red "x's" in them----(well my computer displayed them that way anyway) and now they are back.....

my roads are just getting all nice & dry & the news casters say--here comes more snow.....
