Just realized one year ago today My Mom went to go where she lived her live to be,,, HEAVEN,, Sure miss her,, I still find my self wanting to call her and chat :( She must be looking down on me and Smiles are coming from Heaven, since my personal Blessings are starting to come

I remember how hyper my son used to get after a treatment... and now his son does too... and when an autistic 7 yr old is hyper it is a sight to behold! LOL!

Carrie is trying the no tech stuff and hour before bedtime too... they just shut of the modem... with everything wireless it is pretty effective... Derek sleeps better with this in effect now too... he actually is doing well with the going to school for awhile every other day...he doesn't want to go but once he does he is fine and enjoys it.

I have been enjoying my netflix lately... watching a lot of British shows.. dramas and mystery shows... love the old Agatha Christies... there are a lot of them..
Well off to bed soon...

Its warmer here but its snowing, just a little bit but its still snow!!

I'm home today, have absolutely nothing to do, so i plan on cleaning the windows, on the inside anyway and have some laundry to do.

Cant believe that tomorrow is Friday already, my gosh this week has flown by....but hey its gets us that much closer to spring!!

NO snowing at all today.. Wheee.. First tiem in weeks. 31º now an to hit a 49 today. WOnt have to plow snow for a few days.

I know this all too well... Trey is an Autistic 7 year old...

Trey doesn't have any electronics in his room, with the exception of a radio; luckily, for now, I don't have to worry about that lol...

I use my girlfriend's netflix account to watch shows in my room before i fall asleep; all three of our xboxes and our roku box are setup to use it, so it's kind of nifty... We also have Amazon Prime and HBO Go on them...


It's 36 out right now, just waiting for 7:30 to roll by so I can bring Trey to school; we're lounging around watching cartoons. I didn't sleep very well, kept waking up every couple of hours feeling like my stomach was going to burst. Trying to get over these side effects from the medication increase but it's like my own private hell...

Tomorrow early afternoon we'll be heading out of town for the weekend, it'll be nice to just escape everything that's been stressing me out; even if only for the weekend.

Good morning. I had an icky night with sinuses. At least until the rain started at about 2 am. After that I slept well. I know I will be napping today.

I would like to get something like Netflix, but I don't want to watch TV on a computer, and I don't know how to hook the computer up to my Smart TV. There's a bunch of USB ports and stuff on the back of the tv...I know nothing about them. I think the TV actually picks up internet from the wifi...not sure. The owner's manual is too much to read. Guess I will just stick with my old western re-runs I have seen a bazillion times.

I hate nights with sinus problems...that's why I mostly sleep in a chair. I will be napping today, too...very soon. Was up early to go to the hospital for some tests. Was in such a hurry to get out of here (because I was not supposed to be drinking water) that I forgot my purse. I was gonna go buy a new humidifier (again) after the tests were done. So, I had no insurance card or ID for the hospital (they still did the tests because my sister in law is the assistant to the administrator there and I threw her name out.lol)...but I didn't get the humidifier. So, I now have a pot of water simmering on the stove and a crock pot full of water in the living room..."Redneck Humidifiers".

Do you go the Vicks route for sinus?

I also take a washcloth soaked in very warm water an place it on my forehead,

If the eyes feel hot .I put cold water on a w cloth an hold it on them.

I'm trying to hold off from a nap, but I know I'm going to fail; just trying to figure out at what point to go crash...

What I did in the guest room was buy a Roku Box and have it connect to the internet via wifi and it lets me use netflix, hbo go, amazon prime, etc. It's pretty dummy proof (literally, you register an account on their site, choose what apps you want installed on the box, then plug the box in and enter your account and tada!).

Doctor just called with my blood test results I had done this morning...not good.
Have to have more tests tomorrow.

I have been told that by many doctors since my "illness" (coma, ARDS, sepsis) in Washington. I do feel very blessed to still be alive today.

Just made a lovely pork roast, and Acorn squash and asparagus.
I am loving my wheat free paleo food. Feel great. 4th day at the gym and getting to feel like I did when I was going every day. Now I remember that great energy feeling.

Well the school called me again today. I picked up Julian and took him straight to the ER,, He was given a breathing treatment with a "booster" and prescribed a Steroid to help with his asthma, a couple of days and he'll be fine. So glad spring break starts next week.

Diane sorry of Julian again.. Glad he will be ok.

Well, it has already been recruited to provide the "wetness" for the wet t-shirt contest at this summer's Sultan Shindig!
She will also haul 1000 gallons of water for my gardens when the well runs dry every summer....
And now I can even do better than fulfilling my childhood wish to be a fireman, cuz I get to be the Fire Chief!
I am already shopping for a really cool Fire Chief helmet...

Saw my oldest DD already today. She brought me my 2 grandpuppies to sit with this weekend. My DD & her DH are going away for the weekend.She bought a groupon hideaway weekend for her DH as a valentines gift...I am so glad they have a good weekend for the trip.

Welll, I did not get to clean my sister's house yesterday.....Mom had some of our relatives come down form Wisconsin and they wanted to visit---Mt sister 7 I ended up spending all day until 7 pm there. BUT it was a good time.

Today we were gonna have a nice visit with our cousin...I think I will be cleaning instead...
