I agree about typing on I pad... not big enough for my fingers.. I can barely do it on my 17 inch laptop...
My cape is red of course... and yours is probably much fancier Diane... I only help raise grands you are doing it all- you are the super-duper granny I think...

Well hubby grilled us burgers.. so better go fix one and eat... tired so hitting my bed early tonit...

Try typing on a cell phone Now that's a challenge when posting on a forum or even sending text for that matter

I installed an app on my tablet and phone called swype which allows me to just move my finger over the appropriate letters and it forms the words, makes typing on them way faster. I also have a mini Bluetooth keyboard for my tablet if I find myself having to work o(n it.

swype was already on my phone, when you have to correct it for missing what you were going to swype it's not so much faster , But I agree when it gets the word right it is faster ,

DH does not have to go to work in the morning until they call him----seems there is no power at work-----My DD also has no work as the school she teaches at also has no power---so no one is going to work tomorrow but me--I am going to watch my grandson--YAY !!!

Sleep well everyone... I am heading to my pillows too.. sure hope I am not wide awake when I get up there... was warm today here , had boys for a little while ... cleaned a little and played awhile too ... read my ebook... and printed out our calendar .. everyone's schedule and days off... helps me to keep track of where I am supposed to be when.... LOL!

Tomorrow will be grocery shopping , always a fun day... not...

there are a ton of different swipe apps, your mileage may vary lol... I used like 12 before I found one that actually worked with how I type; and works really well on my tablet too...

Nana I have to go grocery shopping tonight on my way home from sitting with Luke-----Not real thrilled here either...Well, I actually like to grocery shop, I just wish someone else would be paying for it all...

Apps for phones---I am way behind on phones that use apps-----I am due for an upgrade, but I dont know if I will end up with an I phone type of phone yet or not----we shall see. My SIL & I are going soon to get new phones (I am on their plan so it would just be easier that way)

Been up for a while trying to wake up enough to get my grocery list made... sure wish the price of everything would go down some...
It's supposed to be a warm day here today...going to try and get some windows washed as the sun moves around house... love clean windows... and get Joe to take down lights so they can be cleaned of bugs and such... help me dust ceilings.. need someone to either do it for me- or watch so I don't fall off ladder.. we have cathedral ceilings in kitchen/living room area and I really hate that they are popcorn type but would cost small fortune to remove it...so I climb an dust with my long duster pole...

Well sitting here doesn't get anything done... so better get busy.... no boys so no excuse not to get stuff done ....LOL!

I only have popcorn ceilings in the one room and boy do I hte them. They are coming down very soon.
Zipping through. The summer session of school is abbreviated. So not much time between drop off, shopping, getting stuff home and heading back to pick up. I need to stop at one place on the way back to school for one more thing. Tomorrow it will be Walmart instead of regular groceries.

Windows on back of house done... sure wish I was taller.. climbing on a stool to do everything is a pain... grocery shopping done too at one store.. need to hit Sam's now and that will be done.. even sealed the meat I got on BOGO's enough to last till July I hope...

Tina my whole house in popcorn ceiling except in the kitchen... yrs ago had an estimate and they wanted 3000 $ .. well not going to happen ... I will continue dusting with long dusters...LOL!

Well off to Sam's now- got to check my printer for numbers of the ink I need... getting low... last time I checked it I took them out and shook them and put them back and got another couple months use.. so will need to buy some this time...

The guys from solar city came out the other day to update our solar panels equipment, evidently the panel infrastructure wasn't working properly, come to find out we are actually generating at least double of what we where previously... the one subsection of panels (the larger of the two) wasn't reporting any data to their servers... the power company had hard data so at least we where being billed properly.

it's kind of weird looking at the data now and seeing twice the output of what was being displayed for the last two months... I won't have a valid monthly output report till July though since they updated it at the end of May though lol.

At least they found the problem and can now correct it.

I have known a bunch of Super Grannies and most are right here. Looks like I am everyone's big brother being I am 71 have grand kids 38

Need a few prayers and good thoughts sent our way.. there is a fire in Evergreen.. not to far up from us.. we had to close up the house so the smoke wouldn't come in.. it's only about 5 acres right now but it's windy and dry.. they are evacuating people and their animals now.. horses and cattle, sheep, llamas , donkeys .. down to the normal housepets... seems like we start earlier every yr with the fires....
we aren't in any danger here but know all the prayers and good will help the brave firefighters up there now... thanks!
