%*&&$^%##%%$&^ drivers here getting on my nerves,, almost got hit twice within a mile of each other. Both drivers were Texting or scrolling they both were looking down cell phones in hand and driving. They must have had their music up loud too cuz other drivers were honking at them and they didn't even notice. I talk on the phone while I'm driving BUT I use a Blue tooth, and both hands are on the wheel and eyes Forward! The first car came into my lane and I had to go onto the shoulder to clear my self from a hit, when she realized it she jerked her wheel and almost hit another car to her left. The second driver was behind me and almost hit me while the light turned red,, didn't even notice the yellow light to slow down. Lucky for me She looked up 'Just' in time, I had no where to go, I was in the center lane and a car in front me. When will they learn If they want to Meet Jesus early do it where no one else has to meet him early too

WOW... I am so very happy to hear that you are home safely, Diane. One takes their own life into their hands now-a-days when they go out driving. Here, I often have to keep going instead of slowing down for a yellow light because there is a car on my tail that is determined to get thru the light after me, before the light turns Red. I am lucky in that I can choose when I drive, and I try really hard NOT to drive in heavy traffic, Thurs-thru Sunday. Not so many crazy people seem to turn out where I drive on Monday thru Wednesday. I watched my grandson today--he is getting so verbal & is doing so much more. (now if I just knew what he was saying. ) he was telling me something about the ducks in a storybook I was reading him today..... ...but ya gotta love it.

I am glad you are having a grand time with your grandson, Carol. It is a lot of fun when they really start interacting. I worked around outdoors in the cool of the morning. Then went out to fill my spare gas containers (3X 5 gal cans) when it began warming. I came home and made a new batch of mixed gas for the 2 stroke equipment. All set for awhile there.

I love hearing little one's Jibberish,, I love that age between 9 months and 18 months when they try so hard to speak and tell us things,, they more we respond to that jibberish the harder they try,, Love IT! You've got to record it, I have the girls on video tape when they were doing that,, it's still tickles me today.

Good idea, Diane--I think I will have Brian do that for me & put it on a DVD at Christmas-- I have Emily walking for the first time on tape & I have "interviews" of both girls--not to mention Emily saying a few words--that is on Video tape---it needs to be transferred.... --and oh!! I have me sitting on the floor by my daddy the same night---good times--thanks for reminding me. Tina thanks so much.

I am going to have a calm week or two after tomorrow. I have been baby sitting in GA, running errands, cleaning, last night was my book club in down town Charlotte, having my mother a birthday party tomorrow, and then I'm taking a week or two off. I may not even answer my phone. I've had it.

Good Morning,
Hi all we had the grands spend the night last night- was after we took them to rec center to swim for a couple hours... so they were tired but they were up early... 6 for one of them- made breakfast for them and now trying to get them to clean up airbeds and blankets... already getting hot outside so they don't want to go outside... it's 830 am and I am ready for a nap!
Well off to get stuff done... or maybe nap.... LOL! Nana

Does anyone have anything planned for the weekend? I'm supposed to go and get Sushi downtown with my ex (not the pregnant one) since Trey will be at his moms all weekend I really didn't have anything planned lol.
Other than Sushi Linner (if Breakfast/Lunch makes Brunch, I guess Lunch/Dinner makes Linner? lol) on Saturday I'm not entirely sure what I've got planned (yey, play life by the seat of my pants!).
I wanted to get this beautiful sapphire orchid from Fred Meyers but they have 2 per pot and you have to buy them together, so instead of spending like $18 for one like I had planned I have to justify to myself getting two for $35...
As for today I'm waiting for the guys to come out and replace our back door; we had a Millguard replacement since the seal cracked on the door; so much for energy efficiency lol.

FYI James - there are no natural blue orchids - the ones that have been selling the past few years are dyed through the stems. I had one but it didn't last very long, and I'm told that once the blue flowers are gone, they revert back to the mother plant which was usually white flowering. So you definitely saved yourself some money. We had 83 degrees today with full sun. I was working outside in it for about 4 hours sweating pretty good, but I figure maybe that will help me lose a few lbs. Then I came inside and cleaned the entire house without the AC on - good for another lb or so I figure! Now I am finally going to shower, and the rest of my family will be home for me to then cook dinner. A non-stop day here for me. Hopefully it will help me sleep better tonight.

OOh, thanks for letting me know, guess i won't be getting it (it's so beautiful though lol)...
I just had to do all of my pills for the month, it was sweltering in there (like no circulation) so I ended up blasting the AC... My mom makes fun of how warm blooded I am, which is amusing because my ex gf Sam is extremely cold blooded as in she'll wear a hoodie when it's like 83...
