so which is bothering you, the acid in the tomatoes, or the grease in the frying, or is it the flower/corn meal on them ???

perhaps we can "fix" this for you.....

Well, oil/grease could cause diarrhea, the acid in tomatoes could cause burning, the flower/corn meal could cause constipation...

it's been a long day,, got a lot of things done, bought more plants, understood some things that didn't make sense before,, got the boys straighten out on some issues,, I always thought the older we get the more mellow and tolerant we became, uh No,, I have no tolerance at all, especially for wishy washy stuff and silliness that can be hurtful so I had to get things back in order at home, and now it's all good!

I think I need a vacation just for me, and only me to go where I want to go, and do what I want to do by my self with no worries about anything,, Yeah Right like that is ever gonna happen again,, notme kilroy

Goodnight, Carol. Diane, trust me, 70 is not old. You ladies are awfully chatty tonight. Reminds me of the old days. I just had a couple friends over for dinner and monopoly. Had a fun evening. Now I'm just kicking back and relaxing, watching Spider Man 3.

that's great but your mom isn't raising 2 teens and a 7 year old and working 40 + hours a week paying all the bills doing all the worrying by her self with noone to support her emotionally or any other way, with heart disease and copd It will age someone quick living like that, I'm already tired all the time, just think what the next 11 years will do, I can't even retire for another 13 years or more I will HAVE to continue working whether I want to or not. I'm just plain Tired Cindy I need about 3 months to regroup, the last three years have taken a toll on me physically and emotionally, It hasn't been easy and now it's catching up to me. Doesn't matter how strong a person is, that kind of drama will take a toll on a person. boohoo

I know, Diane. kissie I have had to watch my mom raise her grandchild, and is now raising her great grandchild at 76 years old. Now her grandchild that she raised who had the daughter that my mom is raising now had her frigging IUD taken out and is pregnant again, with another child my mom will have to raise. She wants to drive out west again to Montana (where I was born) but I don't think that is in her future...sad to say. My mom could be living a good laid back life right now but has had to raise Anna and all Anna's offspring. I think my mom will drop dead soon...she can't keep this up much longer at 76 years old.

It's just so much a person can take,, I bet you mom wakes up everymorning just to bring up that child. That's horrible no one else took that child in so your mom can relax and enjoy her golden years . I know a woman that raised her grand and grt grands till she was 86 and still drove them to school until they took her license away, it was sad, cuz after that she gave up, taking those kids to school was the one thing she loved to do.

aarrrgggg....I'm up but I don't wanna be. Could not sleep...got out of the chair at 6am to go to the bed where I can see the clock so I would know when it was 8am. That's when Lola gets up. I want a nap, but she is eating organic frosted flakes right now.

Shirley I ageee .. that King book doesn't have the best ending... but I do love my King books... new one is coming out in Sept I think.... wish you lived close I have them all in hardback... running out of shelf room for them...LOL!
We are having a lazy day.. got hubby hooked on reading so he is doing that.. I took my stove top apart and have it soaking in the sink.. dishes are loaded in dishwasher and washing the kitchen towels and potholders... decided I will need a new flat sheet for Derek's blanket so may go get that in a little while... want to get it made before school starts .. and maybe a small one (lap size) for him to take to school.. may help him stay focused... I think I could open up a couple pillow cases for that and it would be just about right size... and easier to fill with beads too...

Well off to finish scrubbing stove parts ... ! Good Sunday to everyone!

Lucky you Sherri !! The stove we left at the farm, came all apart, & I loved it !!! This stove I have now, is all one piece--well the top does not come apart, or even raise--nore do the knobs come off so one can clean them or under them---it is just so very frustrating !! It makes me happy to hear that someone gets to cle4an their5 stove..

Home finally from church & eating out. Now, I have 4 days to get about 11 days worth of work done--- egad

I took my TV apart; whoever the wise guy was at Vizio that decided "hey, lets throw in a bright orange LED behind our name on the TV when it's off" was a dunce... Was rather easy to just remove the wire that plugged into the light.

So now when the TV is on I don't have an 8" lit up bright white "VIZIO" (and when it's off I don't have a bright orange one)... Worked rather well for a TV that's in my bedroom lol... Less distraction when watching something on the TV or while trying to sleep. I wish I'd have done it 4 years ago lol.

My beds are all made with fresh bedding. We should sleep well tonight. I am deciding what to make for dinner. I'm thinking pulled chicken sandwiches with mac 'n' cheese and peas and carrots for the side. A fav of Ted's. I make mac n cheese with the veggies in it about 3 times a week for him.
I need to gather together the supplies we are donating towards his classroom activities. I will take a few items in each day of the week instead of all at once. Getting ready.

I used to love to sleep on fresh, clean sheets. Now I hardly ever get in my bed. When I go to the bed I just lay on top of the made up bed and wait til it's time to get Lola up. Might have to pull those covers back tonight and see what I've been missing.

I have done nothing today except yesterday's dishes. blush

James.. we have a vizio in the bedroom too.. I took a piece of black tape and covered the light.. doesn't really show and it blocks the (on my tv white) light.. never even occurred to me or hubby to take it apart...LOL~
