Good morning. I was up before my alarm by about 15 minutes. That is a good thing. I am adjusting on schedule. The worst part of my time change is driving directly into the rising sun in the mornings.
Nice to see you checking in Cheryl.
Yay! Carol is going to ceramics today. That always makes me smile.

Last week I drove to work in daylight which was nice. Today it was pitch black again which isn't nice. I'd like to leave it one way or the other. Colt doesn't want to go to bed at 8:00 because the sky isn't dark yet.

It was nice to have Bill and Cheryl pop in. Hope Sunny is doing ok.

Yes, when I start my 7 am trek to school, it is light, sort of. I do turn on my headlights. But as I drive 15 miles eastward the sun comes up, glaring, over the mountains. Last week it was higher and not such a direct headache.
But we made it to school safely and the dog and I stopped to shop and get some gas in the van. It is a good day already.

dodge, I've been filling in for a nurse on maternity leave. I'm here until March 31st. I get here at 7:00AM.

Tina, I guess you leave your dog in the car. Twice when I've taken ToDeTa places with me and left her in the car someone has called the police. I've never left her with the windows up and when the police have shown up I've already returned and they just laugh because it's obvious she's not in any distress because she's barking and growling like a lunatic.

I do leave the dog in the van with windows cracked open for air. I do not take the dog anywhere when I'll be in the store for any longish period of time. He doesn't bark at people. He might get excited if he sees another dog. Nor does he go along on hot days.
My dog is 14 years old and loves to ride. I am learning to say goodbye to him and spending lots of time with him. He is losing hearing and eyesight. And weight.

Good morning. The week is half over. Ted has Special Olympics at school this week. Then spring break for the next couple of weeks. Looking forward to getting outdoors and some work done out there.

Good Morning. breakfast

My hands are so sore from the intense embroidery it is crazy.
BUT I only have 11 days left to complete the balnket, so I must plug on...
Special Olympics--that sounds like a good time for Teddy. That makes me smile for him.

It was beautiful the last few days--it was 79 yesterday....Today it is 36*F and at some point rain & snow will be coming--or so they predict...Where oh where is April when you need it ??? why

Good Morning... feels like it should be evening already to me been up since 5 to get to Carrie's so they could take Nicoli for his test, tried to get Derek to go to school but no luck with that...

We talked to our financial guy yesterday.. it looks like we are going to take the pkg they are offering for Joe to retire now... he has to the end of March to accept it, and his last day would be April 17... big change for us but it will let us help Carrie more with the boys ... just hope he doesn't manage to drive me absolutely crazy being home.. LOL!

My new dryer will be here next Tues...got a good deal at Home Depot... will be nice to have a new one- old one was slowing down ...and finally quit...

Well off to go take a nap ,,,, was up way to early today and didn't sleep that well cause I knew I had to get up early.. have a good day all!

Nana

Consult went fine. Getting an iud on April 2nd. It's too early for lunch but I'm going to have lunch anyway. I'm hungry and don't want breakfast. There's chicken salad in the fridge calling my name.

I made grilled cheese for dinner. That is what sounded best to me and I have happy kids. We had grapes and such to go with.

Well silly me forgot that Rod was going to eat out on his way home tonight so now his supper is made for tomorrow.

I made a small pork roast, mashed potatoes & roasted carrots.

I only worked 4 hrs on the quilt tonight--- nono shame on me.

Nite nite everyone--sweet dreams

Good morning. I am glad you have tonight's dinner already cooked up for you and Rod tonight. Carol. That will be one worry off of your mind today. Four hours on any one thing is a lot of love to put into your project. It makes my hands ache just to think about it.

Good Morning. Well in the big scheme of things 4 hrs is notthing.
I really should not have gotten sick back when I did. Those 2 weeks I lost did me no favors.
As I have said before, the 5 large animals on my First Grandson's blanket took me around 10 hrs each---and the Middle wording the same amount of time--so 60 hrs was all I had in it----well I am around 80 hrs and I have a lot to do yet--never mind attaching the back fleece to the embroidered front---I had better not have to go anywhere next week, that is all I have to say....

Well friends, I am off to eat breakfast & then go to my MIL's to do her book work & such. I hope that goes quickly so I can get home & work on the quilt some more..

Bless you Tina--I do so hope so. Tonight I finished the bib overalls and most of the farmers shirt...I have no idea why this is taking so long---
I am guessing perhaps the "x's" are placed much closer together on this quilt than all they were in all of my other projects were in the past...but I do not really know...

night night--I had planned on being in bed 1 hr ago---my bad... nono

Everyone have a great day tomorrow. I will not have time to come on until tomorrow evening. shewinks
