Hi Tina,
No Derek and Nicoli stayed home with big brother and Derek couldn't even come over here.. he isn't fond of restaurants so we took them food after- Nicoli made it to our house for icecream and cake but Derek just couldn't...his anxiety is at a new high for him due to the lies he was told at school.. hopefully he will be able to calm down during spring break and have a new start the week after...

I do hope Bill is okay too.. floods and slides are horrible things - they are trying here to figure out what to so with all the areas that burned last year so the people there don't have to deal with floods when snow melt happens...

Well I am going to get a cup of tea and hit my pillows soon... it's been a long and eventful day for us..

Good Morning,

Joe went to work, and I got up early but am being fairly lazy so far.. it's cold and that makes me not wan to do much of anything... will get my towels in washer and get Matthew to wash his bedding too... am starting to think about spring cleaning too... want to start on spare room and empty it - go thru all the junk in there and get rid of or donate it... clean the carpet.. walls.. wash curtains too.. then on to the master bedroom.. will be slow going but needs to be done for sure...

Well off to get a start on my slow day... will have boys all the next week, our spring break and we have school stuff to organize too.. Carrie's manager's mother passed away and he will be off so she is doing his job as well as hers so she gave herself all day hours .. will help with getting stuff done for our homeschool set up..

Have a good day all..

Nana

Please spread the word on this urgent evacuation notice from Snohomish County:

'EVACUATION NOTICE! EVACUATION NOTICE!

We now have information that the potential for a catastrophic flood event from the Oso landslide to the Stanwood area exists.

If you live in the North Fork of the Stillaguamish River flood plain from Oso to Stanwood, we strongly recommend you evacuate your home immediately.

We are working on establishing shelters for those who have nowhere to go. Until then, people should get to higher ground as soon as possible. Nightfall is approaching and we do not want to take any chances.'

Bill lives in Snohomish County, but I don't recognize the names of the places listed here...so I'd say he is OK...plus he lives on huge flat mountain top so he won't have any mudslides that take his house away.

Thank you, Cindy. I went google mapping and sort of figured out that it was quite a few miles from Bill. But good to have confirmation.

Hope you were able to get some extra sleep, Tina. Carol, have fun babysitting. I'm not doing much today. Got the dishes in the dishwasher and my laundry is in the dryer. We've got some landscapers here today. The dogs only had a minor freak out but got over it quickly. Other than that I'm just relaxing and watching tv.

Nana, glad you guys had a fun party. Hope you have a fun week with the boys. Our spring break was last week. It's always too early for it really to be spring.

Tina, is Ted out this week?

Chermoni, glad you will have a little extra $ in your pocket.

dodge, email me your jelly recipe.

Yes, Ted gets a two week spring break. He was out last week and again this week. I do feel like I'm falling behind in my daily stuff. I do like a schedule of sorts.
A little overtime is a good thing, Cheryl.

The mudslide is about 20 miles north of Cedar Hill . Five more bodies were found late yesterday, bringing the total to eight lives lost and eight more seriously injured. However they have re-estimated the number of missing residents to 108. Fourty houses were destroyed. A new area began sliding this morning.

The river has begun to dig a new channel on its own, so the danger of a flash has diminished somewhat. Many homes that are upstream have already been flooded up to
their eaves...

When I arrived I found that because of his cold & how bad he was feeling, Luke would not go to bed last night and so his daddy finally got him to sleep on the couch & so he had to sleep with him there.....He is a great DH & Daddy---BUT it is very fortunate that he can go in to work or not--as long as he gets in his 80 hrs in 2 weeks they do not care how or when he does it.

Luke had a low grade fever, & was congested, but by the time he took his nap at noon, the fever was gone & he sounded better. He slept for 3 hours. I guess since he had not slept much the night before he was wore out. While he did not eat much for breakfast, he ate a lot for lunch and he was all smiles & such when I left. I think he is well on his way to feeling better. Now, we will hope I do not get it.
Thanks for asking.

Carol... glad little Luke is feeling better... hope that continues and you do not catch it- I know when our boys were little I got their colds every time... not so much now...I had two of them here today.. Nicoli stayed home with Joseph .. he was worn out again and wanted to just rest...

I made a pan of ravioli for dinner- added broccoli to it.. trying to get more veggies in our diets... it should be done soon... good thing I am starving for some reason...

I will have a quiet day tomorrow - no boys unless Carrie needs to go somewhere ... so think I will get a start on my office clear out.. get my donation box ready and put all my office supplies in one place again..

Well off to go get dinner out of the oven..

Bless yoiu for thinking of me. I am doing ok---so either I niped it in the bud as they say, or it was allergies. I have been taking 2 doses of Airborne a day and sucking on Vitamin C drops.

How is Teddy enjoying his break from School ?? I hope that you are enjoying it as well...

It's not noon yet and I've already eaten breakfast, lunch, and snack. Been a slow day in the health room.

Who oversees the Garden Forum Facebook page? Wonder where all those pictures are coming from.

I have no idea--other than to say it is not me....

LOL Bless you Barb. But no, I am far from the best painter in the world....and
I DO NOT want to paint my house--but I am thinking I get to do just that. The idiot we bought the house from said he had painted it when he built it--well no--it just has the base coat...you know the kind that washes off-- rolz, so we are currently trying to talk ourselves into painting---and trust me, I do not want to move all the stuff so we can paint. It would have ben so much easier to paint empty...you know BEFORE we moved in... teach

Well as far as what I am painting for Easter----right now I am cleaning some snowmen (for next Christmas) and 4 bunnies for my mantle that each have 2 sides--one side is smiling & the other is frowning.
Any more we dont worry about when we make something---if we do not get a project done for one holiday there is always next year... shewinks
