Good morning. He is fine, Sunny. The dog is not feeling like his old self today because he has been neutered. My son needed a tetanus shot and antibiotics. He pretty much waited too long for stitches so it will add some more scars. But I think he considers those like medals or something. I would not keep a biting dog around.
Today will be a more normal day. I prefer normal days.

Good Morning !! I have been up since 4:30 am. Still no A/C and the heat index is going to be between 100 & 110 today. rolz
Tina, so sorry this happened to your son but glad that you were available to help him. I do agree with you. I would not keep a dog that bites around...

YES..Normal days are best, I agree.

It is Tuesday but I have phone calls to make & IF the A/C can be fixed today, I will be staying home so the heating/cooling people can came. Then I will be leaving to find myself a cooler place to be.

I hope they can fix it today for you, Carol. And you are not left hanging (and sweating).

YAY !! My A/C is currently being cleaned & checked AFTER the cheap fix. This is going to cost me a few hundred NOT several thousands.

AND I still get to go out to eat with the girls--part of my Tuesday is saved AND I will be cool as well !!!

Life is good !!!!

Have a great day, Carol.
I took Teddy to school and stopped to shop for a few things. I have put those away and am browning meat to make into spaghetti sauce for dinner tonight (and probably tomorrow and a lunch or two)
It is my youngest daughter's birthday dinner that didn't happen yesterday. Just s'ghetti, salad and toast. The sauce will slow cook all day. Simple.

Oh No cold are no fun... hope it goes away soon...

Spent part of the day at Carrie's , she had a conference call with the online school teacher for Derek, they discussed changing his IEP which they did.. discussed him not understanding the math and it being difficult for him to do it- she offered to have an online face to face class with him- and he got it .. she did really well helping him understand it.. he went on to do his language arts and did that well too... so now that he knows how to ask for help and that it's okay to delay turning something in till he can get help he wants to do online school... so guess Carrie will let him continue with it .. Nicoli wants to do the charter school though... he misses school and having friends to play with- so she will go there and have a 504 plan set up for him to cover his medical needs and go to school- it's across the street from her store so she will be close too ... Jon will be able to take him to school and one of us can pick him up...we gave the principal a short course on the CVS and abdominal migrains.,, he had never heard of it but most people haven't..and he said they would be willing to change the 504 if there are new medical prob that show up and work with us for keeping the triggers we know about so far from him....one of the triggers is getting to hot so the PE teacher will be told that if Nicoli says he is to hot he has to be cooled off quickly- we will provide cooling towels,, they work wonders I have two and he has about 4 so we will take a couple to school for his use, there are food triggers too so that part is easy .. the ones we have discovered we don't let him have and he knows now not to eat anything anyone else gives him ... especially homemade stuff that he doesn't know whats in it...

Joe and I bought a new stand for the tv we plan to buy soon, moved the wall unit from the living room upstairs to the guest room- it is two bookcases joined by a bridge at the top and makes a nice headboard set up .. we put all the dvd and vcr tapes on it... well part of them anyway,,, we have a lot of them! We took out the bookcase we had up there , he and Joseph took it down to the basement- it will hold some of the overflow stuff.. we have more movies that anyone needs I think... thee will be a lot of wall space open now above this new stand- we have a vaulted ceiling in the living room so will have to come up with something neat to put on the wall... probably pics of the kids and kidlets... would kind of like to do a family tree but not to sure how I could do that yet...

I now have two nightstands that we don't need and when we get the new tv an oak stand that probably won't hold a new flatscreen tv... but my oldest dd wants it so will give that part to her... its a beautiful unit and would hate for it to go to waste... I want to get rid of the couch up there too and put the loveseat up there... bring the recline/rocker down here to the family room.. we have to much furniture... want to open up my rooms some..so will be purging some stuff out of here...

Well off to bed soon... this going to school stuff makes me tired!

Nite all,

Nana

Thanks Ladies. I have taken some vitamin C and some Airborne. Hoping to just rest all of tomorrow & get rid of this thing. I have to chase Luke around Thursday & Friday.

Nana: Sounds like the boys are finding their Niche in the School area. That is great. I do so hope that this all works out for them both.

Going to bed soon. G'nite everyone.

Good Morning ..

Slept in late for me... it's dark and cloudy so no light coming in edges of windows to wake me I guess... I am hoping the boys settle in too... this is very stressful for all of us ... and it shouldn't be...

I am heading over there in a couple hours to do school with boys.. but it's a light day according to Carrie so will give them option of doing all and then coming to our house for a while... they miss coming here and hubby misses seeing them... so hope they will get what they need to done and make it possible...

We are planning a family get together the 6th for a party to celebrate my grandson going into Army... he takes his oath the 15th... and celebrate the birth of my grand nephew too... and the end of summer too... just hoping it's nice weather for it still.. this time of year it's kind of iffy....

Well off to shower and get my breakfast .. then go supervise school time...

Nana

Good Morning.
I swear by vitamin C and some Airborne. I know many do not think it helps..but I sure get relief so I guess that is all I have to consider.

I do not feel right today but I feel better. I will take a day & rest for the most part. Tomorrow, Luke will not let me rest... teach

I am glad you are feeling better. And also glad you are resting today. I hope you are in tip-top condition for Luke tomorrow.
I dropped my older son off at the ER early this morning for a check on his wounds. Took Ted to school and then went back for my older guy. He is doing pretty well. They gave him a bunch of bandages to redress everything. So now I am home and going house stuff until time to pick up my little guy again. I will stop to fill my tank in that trip.

I am up late tonit... did school with Derek today... learned more about economics and Orville and Wilber Wright than I ever wanted to know I think....; but he is one smart cookie.. we have to read everything to him for him to get it but he understands a lot of stuff... just very easily distracted... then we did an experiment for his science class... and he was tired and so was I... we worked for 3 hours straight...

Came home and hubby has the new tv stand almost put together , well half of it anyway... it will really look nice when we get it all done... I cleaned the upstairs after I got home and made a stir fry tonit for dinner...am kind of tired out but not sleepy .... this going back to 6th grade isn't easy at my age I guess..LOL!

Well as soon as my show is over I am heading to bed.. will read awhile and then sleep - at least I don't have to get up to early tomorrow... may go get my hair trimmed.... then head to Carrie's to do more school stuff...

Nite all , sleep well

Nana

I see everyone has been keeping busy as usual.

Raining here today and more pickling needs to be done.

My oldest Goddaughter had a baby girl yesterday afternoon, grandgirl is no longer the baby in the family.

Time for a new coffeehouse....tag you're it.
