We are supposed to have a cool down soon...so they say. I can't stand to go outside hardly, it's so hot and humid. I can stand hot, but not such humid weather like we have had all summer. It rains constantly and is so hot.
"It's like a sauna out there!!!!" lol

I hear you on the sauna thing. The last part of the summer, my garden went to *ell in a hand basket, because of the humidity.
I could hardly ever go out in it to do any upkeep. I could barely go out long enough to fill the hummingbird feeders & gather in tomatoes.

I am going to bed soon....I have to get up early to go to watch Luke. It is supposed to be raining hard--and I so do not want to drive all that way in the rain. oh well. Here is hoping I make it there & back ok.

I thought you had Luke last Wednesday, Carol?

how it is supposed to work is one week I have him wed-thurs-fri then the next week Thursday-Friday. and then back & forth like that.

Well, with having to take off for Rod next week, I am working 2 Wednesdays in a row. BUT then I will be off 2 Wednesdays in a row.

Altering the schedule to fit yous is a good thing. (I typo-ed "thong" there. I can go to bed with a smile.)

Slept in this morning... till hubby decided to empty dishwasher- that woke me... but hey he did it at least... was in bed or bathroom all day yesterday- had my yearly bout with my IBS... seems like it attacks me every fall .... Nicoli is in the midst of another attack, they took him to ER yesterday and they managed to make him comfortable this time... hopefully stopped it , haven't heard yet this morning if it did or not.. at least this time the er docs listened to Carrie about how to treat him...

We are having real fall weather here too- there is snow in the forecast as possible too... so not ready for that... but we have the clouds and it's cold enough.....

Well off to get some breakfast and some house stuff done- laundry is back to get done again and need to get some other stuff done... losing a day and night is a pain.

I am so sorry to hear about ill health, Nana. I hope both you and Nicoli are over it quickly.
Ted did something to his leg or foot last night and is limping heavily. But he limped his way into school so I hope it is just a temporary thing and he recovers quickly. I stopped at Walmart for just 2 things and then filled my tank nearby. I am home to do my normal dips and dabs of things around the house until it is time to pick him up again.

Well I guess the bug ran it's course with me... just tired today .... did put my family room into winter mode today- ie moved furniture to make sure we could build a fire if we have to.... they said the s word for our weather tonit... no fun ... it's drizzling now... just a little bit so far..


Hope Teddy is better soon... no fun to have a limp.... or the pain that causes it....

We are doing leftovers tonit for dinner.... thinking of doing a big pot of soup tomorrow- have enough stuff frozen to add to my chicken stock.. that will make a good meal for after the craft fair we are going to Sat.... or maybe Sun-- supposed to be 80 then... wonderful fall Colorado weather....

Well off to get last load our of washer into dryer and get to folding ... at least that got accomplished today...

I am glad you are feeling better, Nana. You have the s word and we have a heat wave. I remember many days in September of one hundred and teens. It made school really tough. It is not to be quite that hot this time but over 100*.

I feel funny NOT going to watch Luke---3rd day in a row. I did have a nice day going with my sister though. and as a result, she did not have to go alone.

Today is some bookwork, a few errands, and then more cleaning.

Weather wise Sunny is freezing. I plan to cut my grass today...while wearing a Winter coat. This cold weather hit us fast.

Hoping everyone feels better, I am forcing DH to go to the doc today...I think he has pneumonia.

Oh I hope he does not have pneumonia nor bronchitis. I hate both of those.
This is the time of year (and spring) when we need to be able to share temps with each other. You should get an Indian summer after this freeze Sunny?

Moving right along with my list of "to do's" today...

I did laundry in the night so as not to heat up my home. If I put a clothesline outside the birds make a mess. They think it is their personal perch/toilet. It is all folded and put away. I have pork in the crock for pulled pork sandwiches later. It is much too warm to work outdoors or I would be out raking up fall.

I like pulled pork sandwiches if there is no BBQ sauce mixed in. I just ate & you are making me hungry, Tina.

We are not going to Luke's Birthday party tomorrow. Emily texted me that my Mom would go with Tara if we were not going, and that Luke was still coughing. I asked if he had a fever, but she had been taking it & it was holding at 99 so she just stopped.

My pulled pork is sauce-less. But I have bbq sauce for anyone to add to it if wanted.

did I read that Nana has snow already? I can't find it now. We had a few cool days but then right back to sweltering.

The farmers almanac for this coming winter says we're in store for a dreadful season... Here it said it was supposed to be cold and dry, but most of the US is supposed to have snow, a lot of snow...

Nana said she had possible snow predicted. I read the predictions from the
Farmer's Almanac. It looks to be a horrid year.

Morning ,,, Yes you read Nana had snow- it spit it down but it melted as it fell... do have some we can see on foothill mtns... I think we will have a nasty winter too... the rabbits and squirrels all are extra furry it seems... colder yesterday.. but today it is sunny and warming up nicely... we are going to the craft fair at the park today... Carrie wants to go with us... she needs some fun after the week she has had...

Well it's time to make some breakfast... Joe wants bacon and eggs, sounds good to me too today....

Oh yes we found out the newest member of our family will be a boy, 1st great grandson- due the end of January.. he will be Kaiden Matthew... my grandson leaves Sun for the army.... proud of him but worried too...

After the cold and almost snow we had yesterday today it was 82* .. and tomorrow should be warmer... we had fun at the craft fair but it was nothing new there... mostly commercial stuff so not as much fun... was a nice afternoon out , Carrie didn't go... she was to worn out ....

I did get my kitchen cleaned up and fridge cleaned out... even washed the vent thingie at the bottom... will mop tomorrow ... Joe is bbqing dinner tonit so don't have to cook... Yay!

Well off to find something else to do, should go clean out my office but really don't want to do that ... maybe I will just read ......

Well, nana at least you had a day out. They are always good.

Today I mostly napped after I came home from taking some stuff to the donation store. Lordy it was as busy in there as a Friday night in Wal-mart.
I am feeling better now, so I guess I had some type if virus that has no fever associated with it.
