No Tina, she is not having any new health issues..(thanks for asking)..well no worse than they ever were.
But her DH is very good about cooking and doing housework, so she is good.
I am cooking for her as her FIL passed away & she will be busy this week. So, I thought to help her out.

The snickerdoodle muffins I just made for their breakfasts are not as nice as I had hoped. Well, I do not think so. I have not tasted them. Good news is they look good....

after I rest a bit I will move on to making spaghetti sauce.

That is good of you, Carol. I want a neighbor like you when I grow old(er).
Ted has had his bath and a manicure. I will give him a pedicure in a bit, after I take a shower.

I do feel though that I should tell you that my sister is 56...

I am so clod, I think I will not take a bath tonight.....perhaps I will tomorrow.

I do showers and I give Teddy baths regularly, but not daily in the winter. What is special about the bath today was the nail trimming and the lotion. I do nails every week. And the lotion when he gets dry skin. Or at least I try and stay in top of it. I let it go too long over vacation. He got sandpapery.

I was headed to bed, but A "The Librarian" Movie is on..and yes I saw it not too long ago, but I love them, so I will stay up & watch this one once again...

I had Rod wake me before he left for work. The news said if you are careful the roads are not bad. Said the on & off ramps are slick.

My gauge says it is 32*F. The TV says it is around 10 all around me and here. They also say it will be in the 20's today.

If the coffee does not "take", I will be going back to bed....

Good morning...it is so cold outside, I cannot wait for spring.

Today I have errands and groceries to attend to...oh and of course my vacuum cleaner died yesterday. I took it apart and I could see where it shorted out in two places. I swear if there ever was one that would last me more than a year it better soon appear.

I HATE the cold..and I have NO idea why I live in the Mid-west. Surely a person of MY age would have figured out by now that to live here is not smart at best.

It's not warming up here at all....some people are having such trouble with frozen pipes and septics again.

Got all my errands finished, I'm broke but my cabinets are full so for that I am thankful.

Ok here is what I am doing---I type a sentence.

Then I go to hit the shift key to make the first letter of the next word a capital....and for some reason THIS action deletes my whole post...SMH..BIG time....



Sunny---full cabinets are always a good thing..esp. in winter weather...so for that I say YAY !!!

Tomorrow I will go get a blood test, and then shop for my Grandson's Baptism. I did have some banking to do but that will have to wait for another day....

I am off to begin my day...

I am glad to be home...and am not going anywhere for days

I am home too. I bought far too many groceries. All I went in for was some Milk, lunch meat & a fruit tray for the funeral. I really have to learn NOT to go to Shop-N-Save (a large grocery chain store).
They have so much and it is all so very nice, that I am like a kid in a candy store.

I WILL make a trip to the Pharmacy in the morning but then I have housecleaning to do. At least all the clothes are clean.

Who's funeral. I am home but exhausted, I'm gonna take a nap.

The Funeral...My sister's 94 yr. old FIL. He passed last weekend, but one of the sister-in-laws insisted they have the funeral on the weekend, so it will be held this Saturday.

Then Sunday my Grandson will be Christened. It will be a busy weekend.

Oh my you will have a busy weekend Carol.... so far we have had a busy week, had my physical on Tues.. then Wed morning phone rang just as I got up.. was Carrie in tears .. couldn't understand what she said but she said come over so got Joe up and dressed fast- poor kid has a kidney stone and it hasn't passed yet- they have her on pain meds hoping it does and she is off work till Sun--- hope it passes , otherwise she may need surgery ... Nicoli had a melt down same day cause he didn't want to go to school... he is behind in math and instead of telling him they could put him in another class for math so he can catch up he was under impression he was going to fail again... idiot teacher knows he gets upset easily since he was sick too... they just don't get it... so Jon had to leave hospital with Carrie in ER and take him to school and have teacher tell him new arrangements for math... then he was fine... he just wouldn't go for us....
but he is okay now .. had a good day today... being sick for 2 years has left him with emotions so close to the surface... maybe his teacher gets it now ... I sure hope so... We came home yesterday afternoon and both of us took naps... exhausting day.... then last night grandsons baby mama (don't know what else to call her) went into labor... so was waiting on a text from her sister .. she finally had baby today at 12:44 pm .. Caiden was 6 lbs 14 oz... sure wish his grandma and daddy could have been here too.. he just finished boot camp and she went to see his graduation.. they are trying to get him a emer leave to come see baby but don't know if they will grant it... guess we will see.. If you are on FB his pic is on my page... he is a beautiful baby... we are going to see him tomorrow too..

Well I am off to make some dinner for boys and myself.. Joe wants to cook himself hotdogs.. I won't eat them so he is on his own.. boys wanted tuna noodle casserole..Timba likes the leftovers to take to school for lunches... that boys loves to eat... he is 8th grade now and about 2 inches taller than me now... and growing daily I swear... Derek I my height now and Nicoli is about to my shoulder... they will all be towering over me like Joseph soon... they love it!

Thanks Ladies this is a constant weekend but not a hectic one--so it will all be good.

Emily called me tonight....it could be we will have Luke come & have a "vacation" here Saturday night, so they can more easily finish preparing for the baptism.

I am going to bed soon...night-night.
