I hope that Carrie is over the worst of it. She still has my prayers. Yes, me too.  aren't little ones just the best ???  Today was a long day...and it is supposed to be colder tomorrow. I hope "they" are wrong & we do not have freezing temps.

Today brings more snow here.. Got about 5 inches last nite.
More for today an tonite.. Yukkkkkkkkkkkkkk\
Not my bag.. I plowed for about an hour at 8 am..
Ladys were all out plowing an blowing.. Men were at work an no school day.
2 snow plows running around our roads.. guess its faster???????

Morning ,
I almost hate to say but it's nice here today... our warm up in Jan... it is nice ... Carrie seems to be over the worst of it now... but poor Nicoli has started a cycle... don't know what started it... seems she just can't catch a break ... they did get Derek started on catching up on his school work... and Joe is going to do an experiment with him today for his science class...
Well I slept in and now have to go find some breakfast...then get started on my office cleaning up... maybe I am really tired today for some reason... hoping getting warmer weather for a couple days helps...

b The weather man here said last night that the system the east coast is going to get (today thru Wednesday) is what went thru here, but that it would build up steam while on it's way to the east coast. I am so sorry for such bad weather. I am praying for spring. Nana: perhaps you need a day of rest.

A day of rest sounds good, Nana. You have had charged week or two.
I stopped at the grocery store and the bank on the way back from Ted's school. I splurged and bought stuff to make a couple of meatloaves.

Oh, meatloaf..yum, Tina. Do you deliver ??? I was all ready to walk out the door just before lunch & nope, not going anywhere... It seems that it is snowing here now,, LOTS !   So I made a few phone calls and now I am home for the day.

Yay... I took a nap too .. felt good... Joe is going to make us beef and cheese burritos for dinner... I will make some Spanish rice to go with... Joe did the electromagnet experiment with Derek.. didn't work so Carrie emailed the teacher- she said it didn't work for anyone... but we still have to finish it and submit the results... I googled it and we are going to do a little extra to at least get a little better idea for him of how it should work..
I never did get anything done- sat down intending to just rest for a little while and fell asleep in my chair-- long time since I did that... guess I needed it..
Well off to check my bills and at least get that done...

Good morning. It looks as though that storm over the north east has ended for some. It is also good to see how prepared they were.
Today I am going to put together the meat loaves I bought the makings for yesterday.

I am wondering how Lynne is...hoping she wasn't in the direct line.
We are down to a forecast of 14 to 16 inches of snow....better than the 24 they called for. The damaging winds with it will be fierce though. I am well prepared.

Good Morning !! About Lynne: She too is well prepared. I happen to speak to her last night and she said the snow had stopped but that they were expecting more thru the night and today. The good news is they have a fireplace for in case the power goes out. Happy Tuesday. It is cold but a beautiful sun shiny day here. Bad news is Rod is expecting a delivery that must be signed for, so I am home until the UPS guy comes.

Did the UPS show up, Carol?
I got my meatloaves in the oven. Two regular and two cheddar. I would like a couple more before the heat of summer precludes the use of my oven. Other housework is going on while those bake.

Yes, bless the UPS guy--he got here about 11:30. While that was too late for me to go to ceramics, it was in plenty of time for me to go to lunch with my ceramic friends.
I did have to stop at my mom's and fill out a paper for her though..but that was not hard. and the ladies got to the restaurant a bit late, so in the end we all got our food at the same time.

Good news on making it to lunch.
Tina has me wanting to make meatloaf...I haven't made it in forever.
The snow is still falling but this storm is no worse than any other.
