Good morning. I slept well and long. I need to go to the bank today as well as stop at the store. I am off.

Yes me too. I got 9 hours myself..And for me that is unheard of. I am still way tired & stiff.

Today I am going to watch Luke (& perhaps Micah) while their Mommy goes out to lunch with my brother.

Good morning, another holiday here. Easter Monday...today I will do laundry and eat leftovers that my mom gave us. It was an easy day yesterday.

I am home, at least for a bit. I got Teddy to school, banked and did a bit of shopping. That is home and put away. Soon I'll go out again and buy Ted some sheets and maybe some shoes for myself. And put some gas in the tank before I pick Ted up from school.

Back home. Luke & I had a grand time hiding & finding plastic Easter Eggs today.

Funny Story:
My grandson is now calling his other Grandma "Daddy's Grandma"..so I said, well does that make me Mommy's Grandma?/ he says "no, you are just Grandma."
I knew that one if us should have a different name.

since I have some French blood in me I thought I could be called Mimi...but nope--my DD says that is not gonna happen.

I think you should choose what you are to be called. But that is just me.
I got my sheets, shoes and gas this afternoon before I picked up my kid. I came home and napped. Everyone has to fend for their own dinner.

Tomorrow is my 36th Anniversary. And I am wishing I did not have to cook supper tomorrow.

It is not freezing here but it is pretty cold. I've been spoiled with temps the last couple of months. I may have to light a fire or something today.

My grandkids call me granny ...I add B..........they call the other grandmother Grandma.
It was our choice .. She was a grandma before my girls got here.

Rod told me, just in passing really, as we were driving down the road to some event a long time ago, that we both had 2 parents growing up & so our kids deserved the same...I had no idea how to take that, then or now. But we are together, so that means something I guess.

Barb, nope...Rod got his retirement age raised to 67. and if he were to retire early we would be doing without $300.oo a month of SSI benefits from him. So, if he can make it, he will wait until he is 67. As he will be 64 in the fall, that will be 3 1/2 more years.

Congrats Carol, making it to 36 yrs is an achievement... and you should get to go out for dinner but that is just me... we still haven't gone out for our 38th that happened in March- to much was going on....

Woke up to clouds and a dark looking dreary day out there... supposed to get rain and that nasty s word stuff again today- I know we need it but why can't it stay in mts and out of my yard... so ready for summer...

Joe just left to take Timba to school... it's only a block away from his house but his backpack is so heavy we hate to make him walk... he is growing up so fast... wasn't it just yesterday they were all toddlers... he will graduating 8th grade in May.... and high school next fall..... time flies! Enjoy them grands as little ones.. they grow up really fast... 2 of mine are 25 next month!

Well better go get breakfast and get moving ... got an appt. this morning with the credit union and who knows where else we will end up...

with our Anniversary being on a week-day we decided to postpone a celebration until the weekend. And yes we will most likely go out to eat then.

Rod texted me, while I was at ceramics, to say that golf-ball sized hail was headed this way with a storm that was headed this way, and that all the guys at work put their vehicles in the large shop. So, I drove back home & put my car in the garage. I will still go out to eat lunch--if the storm is over.

I am sorry that your ceramics was interrupted by hail threats, Carol. But glad your car is protected.

I got Teddy to school and made a brief stop at the grocery store. I think I'm going to make hamburger steak for dinner. It is what sounds good to me.

I have April showers tonight. (as in Carol's new graphic). It's not enough to ease the drought but every drop helps. At least the dust will be settled.

Thanks Tina....we had slight showers today as well, hopefully you will get more rain soon. Drought is not a funny thing.... However, thankfully, we never did get any hail.

I tried to reduce the size of my April showers graphic, but when I do that on the 'free' Photobucket, I always get a smaller graphic but in a black box. So I could not "fix" the size. sorry everyone.

I am tired and I am going to bed early tonight.
