Penny--that's purple heart jew right under the tree. Behind it in a pink geranium (there's more sun there) and purple petunias.

Dodge--it's just some kind of sedum. I put it up in a picture because I can't remember what kind, and figured someone would know. It does get a tiny, star-shaped flower.

Here is a pic of my moss rose. It has longer--leaves?--than the sedum, and a reddish stem.

Thank you for the pictures.. !!! I have added some things to my garden since I posted the last picture.. but I haven't taken any more pictures yet.. I will though.. I don't know if I like it though.. I don't think I am very good at putting stuff together. :( And I used several annuals in my "perennial garden" because I just couldn't find more perennials that I wanted. I like it to bloom all the time.. so I dunno.. who knows what I will end up with.. lol

Is moss rose the same as portulaca?? Cause it looks identical. I love my Portulaca!!

Yup, moss rose is Portulaca.

It is hard to get things that bloom all the time, you have to plant for continuous blooms with different perennials. It's all a learning thing. I move things around in my garden every year. I've gotta learn to stop doing that lol

Dodge, that's kind of the experience I've had--portulaca has a 4-5 petal bloom and a much fleshier stem than moss rose. I also have better luck with moss rose--it blooms more than portulaca.
