I most surely did.

I got 6 bags (.75 Cu. ft.) of topsoil. So not real big, but I added them to my flower bed and covered most of it with that. I need about 4 to 6 more.
Then I have 2 bags of 2 cu. ft. of black mulch. It goes into the beds up against the back of the house. I will have too much of that but 1 bag is not enough.

The flower bed I added the soil to is ready to plant my annuals into. I have one of the 2 beds against the house weeded. Well mostly weeded. I want to get rid of my spiderwort in that bed as it is taking over the entire area. DH says to use Round-up, so it is still there.

I also put my plants/flowers into the pot on the front porch and in a few pots. Really I was very proud of what I accomplished today.

Very good. An accomplished day.
I am getting ready to go to bed. It has been a long, long day here. Sweet dreams.

Good morning. I am up and ready for another day. I need some milk and bread at the grocery store today. So that will happen after I drop Teddy at school. Then home to some house cleaning.

HI I got up, went to help clean Church, then went to get my blood test & then "since I was in the area" I went to Wal-Mart. Just home now....

Long day for you already. I'm going to have some lunch and maybe take a nap.

Then after supper, I will go out and start cleaning off my garden area. I really hate that it is a bit smaller this year. But as I am using my planters for veggies instead of flowers, I guess I am coming out the same, huh ????

I ran errands, doc appt's and such all day yesterday. Land taxes are paid for another year....life is good.

Well, my plans were changed for me today. I got to Teddy's school But when I came around to the passenger side of the car I had a low tire. I decided not to try it out and called triple A. they came and aired it up for me and followed me to my tire place a couple miles away from the school. They had one guy working and when he finished the car in line ahead of me I got my turn. I had picked up a piece of metal sometime.
That ate up most of my morning. I went to Ted's class where they were having a Cinco de Mayo fiesta and ate the food with his class. Then we came home. I'm tired.

Well, Hey ! At least you got to celebrate Cinco de Mayo right ???

Home now & very tired. Sad thing is there is no room for a nap.

I am sorry that you didn't get a nap in, Carol. Maybe you can make it up tonight.

Today grandgirl is going bowling with her class...she is excited. I will tackle yardwork when we get home.

Good morning. I am up and ready to face the day. Today I'll get ready for the rain we are supposed to get tonight. I need bread and milk in the house. Maybe some fruits and veggies for the weekend ahead. Something to roast in the oven to help warm us.

Good Morning. I myself need to buy lunchmeat for Rod's lunches. I figured wrong when I bought it at the last.

Today is my MIL's 95th Birthday. I have been invited to go to lunch with her at the Nursing Home. I have bought her 2 blouses as a gift.

Afterwards I will go and meet my great niece that was born in January. Her Dr. had wanted people to stay away because of all the sickness that was going around. BUT now that the weather had turned nice, the restrictions have been removed.

95 is a great birthday. I hope she enjoys it and your blouses. And wise to wait until illnesses have faded to meet a new baby.

Thanks Dodge. BUT her Medicare does not even begin to pay for her Nursing home. Thank goodness her Hubby provide for this time of her life.

I had lunch with her, I met my little great-Niece, I made my Hubby's appt. for his trucks oil change, I ordered my MIL a purple corsage for Mother's Day & I went to the grocery.

It is good to be home.

Isnt that funny how nice it feels to be home when we get there.

I usually have to force me to go to the different places.. When the sun shines I rather not.

I do not mind going out & doing---once I actually get out of the house, that is. BUT then when I get home, I do so hate to do much of anything.

Home does feel good. It was a busy day for me too. I fed Teddy. Everyone else can fend for themselves tonight.
A rainstorm is on its way here. No watering. It is nice to see and very unseasonable for us.

It looks like it will rain here. BUT the weather people say it will not. I guess time will tell.

I gave a neighbor 7 tomatoe plants an 2 marigolds today.. I gave them 6 one other day.
I grew from seed.
They were happy.. Little kids an I am giving them joy in growing.. Mom is divorced

I got a surprise last night. I found out that my oldest DD is coming home for Mother's Day. I did not expect to see her until sometime this summer. Color me happy.

Good morning. I've been up and down with the weather. And watching worse weather across the nation. May everyone keep safe.
I kept Teddy home from school today. The roads are crazy today, with accidents. I told them yesterday that it would be that way and we probably wouldn't be in.

I assume with the family, Tina. I have no idea why, unless it was the childish melt down I had when she told me that they would not be coming for Easter. I told her that her Dh had said that they would come here for Easter every year, & that after that I get no holidays except for half of Christmas.

They did come Easter but then I did not expect to see them until Summer sometime around Father's Day, if then. So we shall see what transpires.

I do not blame you for keeping Teddy home. It is wise to stay off of bad roads if it cam be done.
