Thanks Sunny. It will be grand.

Tina, Emily is hosting Mother's day. When I thought Valarie would not be home, I asked Emily if she wanted me to have something at her house or if she wanted me to. I know with the boys & packing up it is easier on her to host a meal.

So she said she would & now we are all going there. as is my SIL's Family. I will take some dishes to help out.

No, well, not right now---they have been looking at houses though...But I will not be driving 45 minutes one way to watch the boys for free. I wonder if she thought of that...LOL

What I meant was she has the 6 month old so she has to pack up changes of clothes, diapers, etc. & then for the 2-1/2 yr. old she needs "some" extra clothes & food (she only feeds him organic & so she packs that stuff.) Plus then I have 1 baby bed & there will be 3 little ones that will need a nap. At least at her house she has a bed for Luke, a crib for Micah & a pack n play put up for Henry. So for her to feed us is no big deal to her. Not to mention Chris can invite his Mom & step dad & his grandma & spinster aunt.

OK, I thought maybe they were moving. And worried that it would be further from you.

well, you may well be right.
back when Rod had his surgery, The girls had a "discussion" about me. It seems their Daddy told them it was going to be up to them to take care of me if he died. Well, it seems that Emily...she is the one we are talking about now...said to me...Valarie said she "would take you"
I am just to transient (did I spell that right?) to take care of you. It seems they will at some point move and Washington DC is the focal point just now...if not over-seas. But as to when I do not know. It seems the job that my SIL wanted, which was in DC, has now been moved to St. Louis.

But anyway, for now they are still 35 minutes from us.

Thankfully I do not have to worry about what I want. Rod is alive & well. And God willing we will both be around for quite a few years yet.

BUT it is nice to know which of my girls is willing to help me, ya know ??

Good morning. Today I plan on putting together a few meals for the week ahead. And general puttering around the house. It will be a relaxing day.

We have free will offerings. I like your way better. at least that way everyone donates.

Today my sister & I are going to take my MOM out to lunch & give her her Mother's day gifts.
Tomorrow she is going to my brother's house. That is fine with us. As my sister said, well good for him.

I am glad your mother is taken care of, Carol.
I've got a couple of sirloin tip steaks marinating now. I will use those for some fajitas tonight.

Evening all,

Hope everyone has a nice Mother's Day tomorrow... we were going to have a bbq but since the weather man says we may get up to a foot of snow that is kind of canceled... it's been raining for 3 days now... my son had beautiful flowers delivered to me yesterday- pretty roses and lily's... he won a trip to the Nascar races in Kansas so they won't be here but Carrie will be so we will get together sometime tomorrow... Teresa went to Tn for her oldest stepdaughter's college graduation so we will go out to lunch sometime next weekend...

We had the two youngest boys overnight- it's Timothy's 14th birthday.. and he had an overnight sleepover with some of his friends and then today they went to a place they could shoot their airsoft guns... they had a ball , Carrie had to borrow out Tahoe to fit them all in to go.. 14 yr old boys have long legs... he is graduating 8th grade this year.. hardly seems possible...

I am finally feeling almost better now... cough is almost gone finally- and I had a clean bill of health from the dermatologist too... nothing had to be removed this time... Yay!

Well off to see what I can find for dinner .. Joe wants hotdogs and I won't eat them ... have a good evening all !

It is not supposed to snow in may, Nana. We got some on Friday though. I hope it goes away quickly for you.
Getting ready to go to bed. I want to keep on a regular schedule.
Happy Mother's Day to all.

Glad your feeling better at last..Hate you got snow. We were out there one year at the July 4th and could see the snow capped mountains.. We were close to the Cores Brewery.. If that spelled correct.

Have a great day regardless.

Happy Mother's Day from me as well. And good morning. It will be a nice day with temps about 70-75*. I will wash bedding as usual and get ready for school this week.
There is only a couple more weeks of school left of this year. Ted is out on the 28th, I think. And turns around to attend summer session in June.

Happy Mother's Day to all.

The snow missed us as well but the neighboring province was not so lucky.

Lovely, Dodge.
I'm glad the snow missed you, Sunny. That is a good omen.
I am 3/4 through my chores today. Just have to make dinner and shower.
