Our Junie is one tough cookie.

It has been raining for days and will continue for more as well, wish I could send some Tina's way. I am hoping my veggie garden is spared....I just planted the seeds a few days ago.

Hurricane Blanca sent us a few leftover raindrops today. Not enough to wet the ground completely or even rinse off my car. But it cooled our temps down to 85* and I liked that a bunch.
I hope you get a break soon, Sunny.

Good morning. I am up and ready for a new day. I have no major plans for my day. I'll probably shop a bit and mop a bit. There is so little time to get things done during the summer session. Two hours of travel for three hours of school doesn't leave a lot of me time. I'm not complaining though. Teddy's a happy kid.

I hope Carol got some good, healing rest.

I did OK, I was sic. & such but zI made it through, supper & breakfast stayed down. I am currently sitting up, but I am not c OK completely yet.

I will say it is odd how the first leg I had surgery on has taken over as my good leg.

Tina, the travelling to pre-school was the same, it was tiring but well worth it. GG has her little grad party tomorrow.

This is day 4 of 7 days of rain...yuck.

I am glad that you can write to us all. Anesthesia makes nearly everyone sick. I'm glad that is in your past too. Concentrate on getting well with two strong legs now.

You posted while I was typing, Sunny. I hope your rain eases up soon. There is only one more year of school left for Ted. I'll be looking for another way to entertain him by this time next year.

Carol, I'm very happy that you're able to post already; I think that my last procedure I was off for quite a few days before I even felt up to being online. We talk elsewhere though, so you know that :P.

I just got out of my Physical Therapy appointment for the afternoon, my shoulders and back are aching like crazy. The dr said that my range of motion is a little better this week, but that it could just account for carrying less stress in my shoulders this week (as the improvement was only like 5 degrees on my left and ten on my right).

Just a ball of achy right now.

Sunny, no matter how hard I try, I am terrible at directing weather. But I keep trying. I can only dream. But I will wish for a dry spell for you.
Happy Thursday. I don't know if Teddt is going to school today. He was not well last night. I'll have to see how he wakes this morning.

This morning I have had my. Dressings changed and hopefully all is will be well with me today. So far the pLAN is to send me t9 a rehab facility. But the Dr said somethiñg ab9ut it being the social worlers responsibility so that I could be taken care of properly.

I wish they would just do this insttead of getting me involved. How on earth do I know where I need to be or what my insurance will cover ?

I hope they figure it out soon so you can just heal, Carol.
Good morning. I have lots of plans for my morning. Then I plan on collapsing this afternoon. I hope I can get everything done.

Actually it is not bad. They give you 2 choices or you can "make your own plate" from a reselected list. So there is always something that sounds good.

I am sitting at the side of !y bed now waiting for "the bath lady" to come & give me stuff for a sponge bath. I hope I remember to ask for some "no rinse" shampoo for my hair.

It feels good to sit up...my spine appreciates it.

Yea well we shall see when I actually get home.

I am done with my very busy morning. I never thought I would get it all done. But I did. I will lay me down for a nap in awhile.

Good evening. I rested this afternoon. And then woke and fixed a good burger dinner. I am going to vegetate for the rest of the evening.

I am all moved to the different rehab center.
I sure hope the thearpy is good, not impressed otherwise so far.
They run this place like a nursing home staffing wise. Smh

My legs both feel terrible...and I got my 1 pain pill....I was on 2 at the hospital.

Good morning. Today I am planting some things and hoping I can keep them living in spite of the drought. As well as doing some laundry. I am grateful that I have the gray water system for watering my trees.

The sun has arrived...I got my grass cut yesterday and today I must trim trees.

My computer 'zapped' and I lost all my stuff yesterday...I finally got it back online this morning after reinstalling the programs.

I can't believe they moved you already Carol..I am sending prayers for you.
