The only reason they kept me so long the first time was the time I had to spend in Intensive Care . insurance companies are a bear to say The least.

Good morning. I hope your stay there is very short, Barb. I am not liking the state our healthcare is in right now. Don't get lost in there.
Today I will spend time getting ready for a very hot week of school. I am not ready for summer at all.

Tina I agree 100 % on health care.. Its a money making racket like every thing else.

I'm buzzing along with my day. I even cooked lunch. Dinner will be sandwiches due to the heat. But it was still cool enough to cook for lunch.

Barb, I start P T tomorrow. Supposedly 2 hours a day.

Today they have been ignoring me, so I have been caring for myself. As a result my R leg is really swollen.
So this afternoon I have it and resting.

Carol...demand the care that you need. I know it can be discouraging but speaking your mind now is what you need to do. You are there to rest and heal. It is such a shame the way you are being treated.

I am praying that the PT department can help you, they'll notice if you are doing too much and that you need more care.

I agree with Sunny a hundred per cent. You do need to speak up too. To everyone. If you are not in the type of place where you need to be then talk about it. If they can't take care of your dressings as needed and general care, then you need to be in a place that can. If the food is unappetizing then they need to hear about it (and someone from home can help with that part too).
Are you even close to home so visiting can be easily done?
I am done for the day except my shower.

In our area they cut back on staff an one gets less an less services.

Wonder if she can complain to the Insurance people for not being treated equal?

Good morning. Happy Monday. I am up enjoying the cool of the morning. And coffee. I hope to get a few things done before the heat sets in for the day.

Last night, I finally told the RN what my total problems were.

She was and has been extra caring. She said they do a lot of hips & like knees here...not that I have seen any yet.

I am staying laying in bed today unless I need to go potty or if I go to therapy...I will have 1 hr of each kind.

And my brother is coming with lunch. Yay !!!

I am glad things are looking brighter for you today. I truly hope PT goes well and is not too much.

We made it through and the dentist got to keep all of her fingers This was the third trip I have made with GG to get a check up and cleaning...the other two times she was terrified. I had to lay in the big chair with her laying on me to get it done.

Then as a bribe reward I had to take her to the Dollar store for a toy, the beach, the park and for a lunch...I'm played out.

That's good Sunny. Ted's 21 years old and still Needs a general anesthesia for a cleaning.

Yup, and GG has an eye appointment tomorrow as well....this getting ready for kindergarten is a lot more detailed than it used to be.

Good morning. Yes, and children are expected to know more before Kindergarten than they used to also. There is a lot of things dumped on kids these days.
Today I'm going to vacuum while Ted is in school. It's about all I have time for in the short time he is away.
