I got tha t shot from about four feet away when she came to drink at one of my feeders. I borrowed my daughters Canon PowerShot S3 IS camera that has 6 Megapixels and a 12X OPTICAL ZOOM!!! so the pictures look MUCH MORE closer than they actually are. I can get DETAILED pictures of a bird 50 feet away and I was only 4 feet away from the hummer. OH! and I now have TWO Hummers!
