Just in a for a sec...my mind is exhausted with everything still going on, funeral is only Tuesday. It has been raining non stop for the whole Summer. My garden is a mess. Every pumpkin, cuke and pepper has fallen off it's plant. The tomatoes haven't even set fruit. There won't be much of a harvest this year.

Sunny, I am so very sorry. Rain is no one's friend it seems.
I have not gotten any tomatoes yet either. I have a few green ones, and my cousin says In her opinion, we are far better off frying the green ones, as we will not get many, if any red ones.
Overcast here today...

Rain is no one's friend it seems.
Well. if it could be more evenly distributed, life would be lovely. We had a little shaker this morning. A 4.2 or so. But it was close and lasted for awhile. Long enough for me to start mentally going through my mental routine for preparedness. Keeps me on my toes.

About the rain--yes, that was inconsiderate of me, Tina. You are right. We all need rain just not every day for weeks in a row, OR those of us who rarely get it. You are right--if it were evenly distributed it would be grand.
About the "shaker" OMGoodness. I am glad that you are ok---but still I am sorry you had to even go thru thinking about what you would do & such. I am glad that you are prepared for such occurances though.

I didn't feel you were inconsiderate at all. Just viewing the world from a soggy pace.
And earthquakes are exciting. Not to be feared . Just planned for. And I have prepared about as well as I can.
Meanwhile, today I have worked in the yard while it was 'cool' (under 80*) and eaten breakfast and did the dishes. I have popped Teddy into the bath and I am getting ready to shower myself.
After that, I don't know.

Good morning.
Last night I mowed my grass, it was wet but I was fed up...it's not going to dry anytime soon from the look of the forecast.
Today I have errands to run, with everything going on GG hasn't seen her mom or new baby brother in a week so we will be visiting for the afternoon.

We went to church today then to see my MIL. After we ate lunch, we too went to Wal-mart. I had a lot of things to get and then we did grocery shopping.
After not finding another baby quilt (to make up ahead, as I am so slow) and not finding a shower curtain with little suction cups, I did the grocery shopping. We are good for awhile now, thank goodness.
Pizza is in the oven for supper as I type..

I didn't ever get to Wally World today. I got distracted doing other things around the house. Tomorrow is soon enough and less crowded too.

Good afternoon...more running for me today. GG had an appointment, she had a rash and apparently it came from being in a swimming pool. They are treating her with antibiotics...it is always something it seems.
I am off to the wake later then the funeral in the morning.

Well, I did not have a completely dry day--it rained about 30 minutes, but the sun is out now, with nary a cloud in the sky, so I am happy, as are a few of my hummingbirds.  Sorry about GG, Sunny. It does seem when they are small they tend to catch whatever is going around. I hope she soon grows out of that phase.  I am still thinking of you and yours and am sending out prayers at this time.

It rained here tonight, & stormed a small bit along with. I am going to bed as well. Although I must have gotten into some caffeine at some point this evening.

Good Morning !
I wish I was computer savvy enough to run my own scans & stuff.
While I did find out I am not running at a decent speed on the internet, in my house I do not get to do anything about it.
BUT I really think I have a malware infection or some such. The kids are coming by Monday night--I will ask them for their opinion.
I pulled an all-nighter last night. I was up 24 hours. Then when I finally got to sleep, I did sleep 5 hours in the end....(I just got up)

No, my legs were not bothering me last night---I felt all jittery all night---like I had had too much Caffeine, too late. But it lasted too long to be just caffeine. And it is sorta bothering me now...oh well...

Good morning. I haven't shaved my kid all month long. I was interested to so how long and thick his beard and mustache would grow. Not enough to be interesting. So it's coming off in the next bath.

Good Morning. No rain here (yet) today either. For all the rain we got the other night with the small storm, mu rain gauge said we only got 2 tenths. Not sure how accurate my gauge really was.
I slept until 8 this morning, so I am happy about that.
Rod has things to do after work, so he is eating out tonight. So, YAY for me, I do not have to make supper.

Thank you Tina..it was a long week. GG is going for her first sleepover since her brother was born...I shall hear some interesting stories tomorrow  We had a whole day of no rain yesterday but the heat and humidity were awful. It is overcast today once again. No wonder September and October are my favorite months of the year.

I am waiting on the sun to come up. It is nasty hot and humid. It looks like most of the storms expected will skirt around us this time. I was looking forward to rain again. Oh well, next time maybe.
