it is raining today, i wish we could have had a dry day. 'gg's birthday is today and we are having a small party for her at her mom's...she isn't pleased to be turning 5, apparently she doesn't want to be a big girl.lol

Good morning. I was up earlier but went back to bed. Now I'm waiting on the sun to rise to get out with a rake. Today we will get ready for school tomorrow.

I went back to sleep at 5 am & then slept until 8am.
Church, visiting MIL, lunch & groceries bought. Rod does not like my grocery store..too many people...LOL

Groceries are now put away and I realized I did not buy any Kool Aide..I will pick some up tomorrow,

I did a little raking, laundry, trimmed nails and such things. More to get done before we are ready to face tomorrow.

I must be tired...I think I will take a nap. Do not work to hard, Tina...in the big scheme of things it sounds like you got a lot done.

we had no rain today so i spent it outside getting chores done...it sure felt good to put out a line of clothes.

I wish I had a clothes line...I am glad that you enjoyed the day outside, Sunny. I wish I was up to getting out in the heat. I am hoping it cools off some soon so I can get some stuff done outside myself.

I am glad that GG's party went well. That is always a good thing.

How wonderful you got clothes on the line. I hung out sheets today. I am all ready for clean beds tonight. And the new school week ahead. Now I am just marking time until bed time.

Yes clean beds (esp those with sheets that have hung outside to dry) are the best. Enjoy them ladies.

Good morning. Happy Monday. I wish I could keep the energy level I wake up with in the mornings most of the day. A lot more would get done around here. But it is what it is. So I'll deal.
The plans are to take Teddy to school. I'll stop to shop but I can't think of a thing we need. Well, a couple of 'wants' and I'll check the sales.

i woke well until i looked outside and seen frost...time to just give up on the gardening this year. i will have carrots and onions though.

i am sanding and restaining a wooden coffee table that we made 15 years ago, it has a flip top for storage...gg had been using it as a toy box but we bought her a storage organizer for her b-day so i finally get my table back. i am lucky enough to have enough supplies left from when i redid my cupboards.

I hope you find some good sales when you are out today. I think I find the best items when I do not need anything. good luck & enjoy.

If it helps---the squirrels got another of my almost ripened tomatoes. I guess I too will give up this year. IF there were larger green ones, I would just fry those & call it good enough...but nope not the case.

Today I will drive for the first time since May 9th. First to the dentist, then to the bank. Perhaps a few other places as well, just 'cause I can...

Your table sounds wonderful, Sunny. I won't refinish ant furniture any more. I'm lucky to dust it once in awhile.

For someone that didn't need anything this morning, I sure spent a lot. I remembered that I needed new windshield wipers when getting the fog of of my car this morning. So I stopped by an auto parts and got those. I asked the teacher if they needed anything and snacks were needed. So at the grocery store, I loaded up on juice boxes and snacks. Then I got general stuff for the house. I didn't find anything worth buying on sale.

It seems that is the way of it, Tina. I have yet to stop at the grocery or Wal-mart & usually have one simple ting blossom into several others....

We should all be independently wealthy...

Frost? And it's unbelievably hot here. Frost might be welcomed. I've given up in the garden. I'm tired of worrying about it. It's been so hot and soooo dry.

Our cooler weather was just a tease. It has been great but we are headed into triple digits with high humidity. I am not looking forward to that.
But meanwhile I'm heading to bed soon. I'm tired.

Well, I drove today & what that means is I get to go to "Ceramics" tomorrow !! YAY !! I am ever so happy.

Right now I am so very tired, so I think I will go to sleep too.

tina, i'd be in trouble if i lived so close to the stores...going once a month is an adventure in itself though.

coffee table is finished...i just need new screws for the hardware. I can't wait to fill it with my photo albums so that i can move my dishes back into my buffet.

The store that is closest to me is behind a quagmire of road constructions and traffic. I don't go there often. I combine my shopping with school trips right now. The school and stores I go to are about half an hour away. I'll have to come up with a new plan after next May when school is done. Maybe the construction will be finished. I'll figure it out.

It is supposed to be cooler this week (in the 80's) I am hoping to try to get some weeding done. we shall see if I can.

Today it is TUESDAY !!!!! YAY !!!
I wish I could have you all out to eat lunch with us. It would be ever so much fun !!

Yay, ceramics!

It's cooler here today too and it's been raining. So glad. I need to just pull up the garden plants but can't get motivated. Maybe I'll get Jesus to do it when he comes to cut the grass. I'm also deciding if I want to wash my hair. I washed it Sunday so I can probably make it one more day. Can't get motivated to do that either. Maybe I'm just lazy. Whadda ya think?

I love watching house buying shows and today they have 1 million to spend but just can't find what they want. Are you kidding me. They are complaining because in the house they really love one of the bathrooms needs updating. I'm thinking if I've got a million dollars I can afford to update a bathroom.

Naw, you are not lazy, it is just summer--it does that to people.




I have watched those shows, IMO, MOST of the time, when they say something needs updating they are way off the mark. But I do agree, if I was talking of spending that kind of money would updating a room even be a consideration ???

I have showered and Teddy is out of the bath. We are ready for the day of school tomorrow. I just have an hour to wait for bed time.

Tina, sounds as if you are right on schedule.

I could not stay awake any longer, so I had a nap at 6 pm. So, of course I am wide awake now. I am going to playa round with the computer until I am tired enough to go to sleep myself.

G'morning !! I am way sleepy--I am currently drinking some coffee to remedy that situation. I wanted to do some shopping out today, but I think I may well just do some resting here at home instead.

No rest for me. I just got home from my morning stuff. I am grabbing a sandwich and am going to go out again ending in picking my son up from school. I will resting the afternoon away

it was a very nice day. The big plan was to weed this evening. BUT My leg was bothering me too much. Tomorrow I will do the weeding no matter what.

In the AM I go for a blood test then I am taking breakfast donuts over to my sisters for a visit. I think I will go to bed early tonight.

Good morning. I am up and ready today. I hope everyone else is as well.

I slept well last night.
This am I had to go get a blood test for my family Dr. Next week I have san appt. to make up the check-up I missed while I was in the hospital after I broke my femur.

Then I took donuts to my sister's house & we had a good visit.

You talked about the donuts last night. Set up a craving for me. I picked up some donuts in my shopping trip this morning.
I took my kid to school and shopped for a couple of things (those donuts). Came home and put those things away and took right off for an appointment for Ted and I. Then went to a friends who wasn't home. Ten home. I'm whupped.

my computer has been crashing the past two days again...i'll post as i can.

I'm sorry, Sunny. I hope you can get a handle on it soon.
