Color is not necessary to me. But I do like short and long sleeved things grouped separately.
I rested and am refreshed.

I have him beat---when I had a clothes line, I hung towels like this:
.....Bath towels, hand towels, washcloths, then dish towels & dish clothes. within those they were hung by color....
back at the farm, all my closets, cabinets & drawers were VERY organized, while the house would have clutter.
I would be that way in my house now but a) I have no clothes line & B) my life is too crazy so I do not have time to keep the closed places straight now.

I have the long sleeved items & the short-sleeved, separated. Rod made me a clothes rack & it is in the basement. My off season clothes are down there & my current season are in our closet.

BUT if I were not so slow in doing things, I would have OCD big time. Over time that has cured me of most of it. But I am still worried about it in my mind a lot of the time.

I have OCD but I am on a small amount of medication to relieve it....and it does, I am so thankful. It took over my life for awhile.

The sun is shining, the air is crisp and I think I am going to give in and go to the doctor. Colds/flu are not supposed to last for months. I am getting worse instead of better.

I too am tired, Tina. I was sleeping like a baby & at 8:30 my mom called me because she lost some phone numbers that I gave to her. Of course she calls the one day I am able to sleep. but hey, I got 8 hours. so I cannot complain.

Good evening. I have given in and bought some 'homeopathic meds'. If it was good enough for the olden days it should still work now. My lozenges taste like how the hospitals used to smell

When I came home this afternoon I took a nap. It was lovely. I am caught up I think.

I thought I had a line on some Duncan Translucent paints. But the guy wants to keep them until he finishes some pieces that he has from his MOM.

What an interesting news day. But I am nearly ready for bed. Un spite of the nap I took this afternoon.

We change our clocks on Saturday night as well...Well, on the things that do not change automatically. I love technology. t leaves less for me to do.

I changed my batteries yesterday...and I as well also change the clocks Saturday night.

I am up early again. I love having the mornings to myself. Today it is windy, dry and warm. There are trees downed. I hope mine hang in. The drought has not helped. The El Nino rains will not help either.
I am going to shop a little after taking my kid to school. And do up some towels as well. That is on my agenda.

No Tina, my time changes when yours does...I just changed the batteries right away since I just bought new batteries.

We are getting the tail end of Hurricane Patricia today.

I forgot to say...Our smoke alarms are wired into the house. Somehow they have a battery back-up for when the power is out, BUT I really need to ask about that, as to my knowledge we have not replaced batteries in 10 years. I am hoping they are recharging batteries (?) As I say I must really ask how they work--or I know---I should read the paperwork the builder left for us. DUH.....

I did some cleaning & straightening already this morning. When I am done with my coffee, I will go back to moving the bed in the guest bed room. Valarie put it against the wall so henry could lay with her in the mornings. BUT my BIL & SIL are coming & I cannot see a 74 yr old man climbing into bed.
BUT try as I might, I cannot get it right.

I have been doing school all this week with Nicoli.. Carrie switched to days all this week... I am exhausted... one more day- partly because their internet connection keeps dropping so have to shut down and restart- go back and find where we were and do it again , today was fairly easy day though.. tomorrow will be busier... we are doing a bean plant experiment and have to write it up too...

Have really good news about out Derek... he is doing really well with attending school... really so much better than any of us expected.. we kind of all of us held our breath hoping he would cope well... has had his moments of anxiety but handles it very well for the most part.. pretty good for a kid who hasn't attended school for 2 years and to start in middle school at that...

Well off to start some dinner for us tonit... I will be hitting my pillows early again... this getting up early every day is probably good for me but been a long time since I "had" to really do it everyday...LOL!

Sounds like both boys are doing well, and that is a wonderful thing to hear. Thanks for sharing.

You need to get some rest, but I am sure your children appreciate all the help you and Joe give to your family. and it teaches them how one should be. YAY for you!!!

We are getting a wind storm...I've lost power twice but am back on the grid. My mother is not so lucky.

I have a Halloween party to take the 'grands' to this evening...I have to make fudge today as well but don't want to start in case my power goes off again.
