Today I have a few local errands to run....then tomorrow I have a dentist appt. I also need to try get an appt to get the Winter tires put on my car. Even an easy day is a busy day it seems

Good morning. I am glad I don't have to worry about winter tires or much of the cold weather prep.
It is cold and windy here and today, I am ready for a touch of summer. Then I could complain of the heat.

No one has been in since this morning. Shame on us. I hope it doesn't have to do with bad weather for anyone.
I had a good day. And I've got to get cracking on cleaning and organizing my house. I've let it get too far gone. I made a start today.

Yes shame on us..I got to go to ceramics. It stopped raining for the most part and only sprinkled a little until I got home this afternoon. It is raining "cats & dogs" now.

Glad that you had a good day, Tina. I am not going to worry about extra cleaning before Thanksgiving. No one will be here & it is clean enough for the 2 of us.

I will do the deep cleaning as I put up the Christmas Tree & such.

I was gone most of the day yesterday with errands and didn't get a chance to pop in either.

I couldn't get an appointment anywhere to get my tires changed. DH can deal with it himself this weekend

I did get my errands and groceries completed. Today I have a check up and cleaning at the dentist. There is always something to do and somewhere to go it seems.

They are calling for a major rain/snow storm this weekend. I hate when the temps are so close to the freezing point...it makes it impossible to forecast which way the precipitation will fall until the day of.

Good morning. I am trying to plan out my day and I don't know what I am doing with it yet. I think I need some coffee before I start.

Well I am up and getting ready to head to be a teacher again soon... wind is blowing like crazy... can hear it howling .. hope Carrie has her fireplace going... I need coffee ... was hard to leave my nice warm bed... our part of the blizzard was about 6 inches of wet snow , melted on the roads already.. so we did our errand running yesterday...got my turkey day supplies except for last min stuff... going to cook 2 turkeys this year .. one day before and one day of...

Well off to find my breakfast and get my lunch together ... got to stick ingredients in crock pot too for stew for dinner... will be good as it's not going to be very warm today....

Good Morning. I too am in need to my coffee.

I have book work and things off of my list to do today. But I think the coffee will get a chance to kick in yet.

I need to figure out what to have for supper tonight. Rod has a company dinner today at lunch, so he will not be very hungry tonight for supper. I have a hard time coming up with a meal on those days. I would just as soon not cook and then have popcorn later in the night when we did get hungry--oh well.

The rain has stopped here, thankfully.


Tina, I hope you come up with something fun to do today.

It is getting close to my bed time. I didn't accomplish much of what I intended this morning. But the day was not a total dud. And I'm glad I got to nap today.

It was a long & tedious day for me, but it was a pretty day outside. NO rain & the sun was shining. ^0*F was the high but a sweatshirt was all one needed to wear.

My dentist visit went good, I love getting my teeth cleaned....Yes, I know I'm weird.

Today is a normal day here I guess, the usual cleaning and cooking. I need to dig out a few more Xmas decorations for GG to put up as well....I figure a few at a time is a good idea.

Yesterday after my appt, I stopped in to take her for a treat. She asked for a roll of kitty cat wrapping paper to wrap her gifts from us in. The cashier was laughing at her.

That's fun, Sunny. It's so good to have little ones around for all that stuff.

There is no school today so I picked up GG last night. It rained all night then froze up this morning. It is calling for heavy rain today freezing up again this evening. It makes me wish for snow instead.

Good morning. I am gong to shop for the weekend after taking Teddy to school. Then come home and put that away and go back to school and feast with his class. Then school is out all of next week. So we will have some fun.

Thanksgiving holiday. I so miss dealing with such things. I think was happier for the holidays than the kids were...plus they were home.

It is warm here today and the next few in the high to mid 80's. But Thanksgiving Day is supposed to be cold and rainy. I am happy for the reprieve for a few days.

I am home & tired. BUT I did get all of the things on my list, and a few more.

My DH tells me it is supposed to rain in the next few days...

Good morning. I've been up for a couple of hours. Got started on some housework. Quiet housework because my kids are still sleeping. But that is going to change soon.

I had my 1 hrs. nap. I feel ever so much better.

It is snowing here...big, thick, heavy flakes...but it is not sticking around as I can tell.

Just the usual goings on today....housework and cooking.

Even I'm jealous of my warmer temps. I will be dreaming about them when it gets cold again. I feel blessed. The warm, dry winds are drying the clothes on the line quickly. But our various fire departments are on high alert because of extreme fire hazard.
I picked up Teddy's toys from his floor in preparation for vacuuming. He is busily rearranging them on the floor again and I have not yet vacuumed. Oh well, even his messes are neatly in lines.

I am thinking there are a whole LOT of people jealous of your warmer temperatures, Tina.

When I went to my sister's this afternoon at noon (after the rain & snow had stopped) it was 50*F in my garage, 46*F on the streets, and the wind was cold. It was like 34*F at 3:30 on my way home. I am NOT liking winter AT ALL.

Brrr... I couldn't handle that any more. My bones would walk out on me in protest.

I think mine consider doing just that, Tina.

Good morning....it was snowing when I woke then changed to freezing drizzle and now rain.

I have a very sick GG again, she just can't shake this cough and woke with a fever. Back to the doctor with her tomorrow.

I really need to get it cleaned before next weekend. My oldest & her family are coming for the weekend. She is coming down for the "Dudley Italian Thanksgiving". It is always the Saturday after Thanksgiving. We have been having one since the first year my niece has been married. She was going to her in-laws house for the Thanksgiving holidays and MY youngest was going to Japan to be with her then boyfriend, so he could propose. (yea, really)
They didn't want to miss being with their families on Turkey day so the 2 of them concocted this party.
We have had them every year since. It has been 9 or 10 years.

I think I have some sewing to do...See you all later.
