I just got my car serviced. It needs an alinement. and some fuel injection thing...How can NEW vehicles be money pits???

Tomorrow my daughters are going to use my dust cloths around my house. I believe they will be busy. Isn't that lovely?
I have chicken in the oven "frying" and some sweet potatoes. that will be dinner tonight and a couple more meals.

I Often "fry" in my oven...as a matter of fact, unless it is eggs or hamburgers all things get fried in the oven here.

I think it is grand that your girls are cleaning at your house. YAY for Tina !!

I will most likely not be back in tonight.

so, I will say g'nite right now---sweet dreams everyone.

Good morning. I hope today finds everyone well. There is a warm wind blowing here. It'll be cooler tomorrow with rain coming in Thursday-Friday. I like it all really. Just not the cold so much. I'll get Teddy to school and stop to shop a little. And then we'll see how the rest of this day goes.

I've noticed the weather across the continent has been really mellow. Our news is all about preparing for El Nino.

I've seen that, James. Keep safe. Ca is supposed to get snow measured in feet from the "river" of weather moving in.

Good morning. The weather can be hard on people. But we sure need the snow pack in our mountains for drought relief. So I'll try to be grateful. And bundle up.
Happy Wednesday. I will try to shop a little today. Christmas will get done, one way or another. Today it's teacher gifts.

Good Morning !
Tina, I hope that you get your snow then. AND I hope that you have fun shopping and that you get all that you need to, accomplished

I guess God has a funny way of waking me up. I need to go to a funeral today. I stayed up late wrapping and did not set my alarm.

So, at 7:45 I "hear" my old phone go off as if I have a text. So I get out of bed, & go check my "new" phone. Well, no, no message & no missed calls. But hey, I am awake now. Coffee in hand. It is a pretty day for sure.

Good afternoon, house is cleaned and I am mopped into a corner for a bit.

Stay safe in all that mixed weather...we keep getting rain, it is the first time that we ever cut our tree on dry ground. GG will remember that one forever with a few pics.

I hope your funeral is not a family member Junie kissie

Teacher gifts, thanks for reminding me Tina...I told DD she is paying for them this year, I must find out if she purchased them yet.

I got my teachers gifts and will give them this afternoon when I pick Teddy up. I like gift cards. I often get a store gift card and a restaurant gift card. But I heard them talking about getting a food gift card and two of them just started a diet. So I settled for a $30 from Walmart and $10 for Starbucks for the teacher and two aides. I like to give them early so they can use them as/for gifts themselves if they need. I also bought extra Starbucks cards for other people.
Off to put together meatloaves for baking later.

I got a call from the school. My kid is sick. Poor baby. I went and picked him up. He threw up at school twice. And three more times since he's been home. No fever. Yet. Very unusual.
The teacher gifts are delivered. I think I will try to nap.

The funeral was for my DH's cousin. he was 65 & had a heart attack...just like his dad & brother did. bad news is the other brother that had a heart attack years ago has 3 sons--if I were their wives, they would be at the Drs. getting check-ups.

Sorry to hear that Teddy is ill, Tina. I hope whatever it ism he does not "share" with you or his siblings.

Home form funeral...
The gift we got my one grandson, his parents got him as well..(a remote control excavator) so now we will be getting him Lincoln Logs instead.

Today I'm thankful that the rain let down and let the sun out for a couple of hours; it's been raining non stop, people in the apartments downtown Milwaukie had to use a boat to get to/from their parking lot...

Tina, I hope this sick "phase" ends soon.

Gracious, James, I do so hope the rains stop...too much is too much. Keep safe.

Well, thanks to Rod, my tree is up and has lights on it. AND my mantle is complete with a number of nativities on it, and 1 Flight to Egypt. I may finish yet..

Tomorrow I need to go see my Mom in the hospital. They are talking of transferring her to a nursing home in the area for her therapy.
They have something called bed to home there. You stay in a nice, private room with a good TV & a leather recliner & get your therapy. I sure hope this goes well.

I'll see you all when I see you.

We had a really dry summer, evidently we're going to have a very wet winter as well, lol. It's been dry most of the day, but evidently we're supposed to get another 3" of rain coming in... A lot of power outages, downed trees, etc. all over town, it's been a crazy week.
