Good Morning !! I am up and at 'em. Seems I was not meant to sleep well last night. Good news is today's supper is going to be an easy one. I am going to make chili. I may or may not add Cumin. Otherwise, I think I will be reading one of my Christmas gifts. shewinks

Good morning. And good dinner plans Carol.
I slept well and woke with a headache. I hope to shake that soon. The weather the next couple of days is supposed to be pure California. I'm looking forward to it.

I hope your Headache is gone soon. Often I wake up with one, as soon as I am upright for a period of time, my head drains & it is gone. I soon home the same happens for you. I just had a short nap. and my 3rd breakfast. Hopefully I am full now.

Mine was not a sinus headache. It was sleeping too hard in an awkward position. And a single aspirin cured it.
I have gotten a lot done this morning. I appreciate moderate weather very much.

My door bell rang & when I answered it there was the florist Truck and a delivery man, holding a beautiful live bouquet of flowers.
They are simply beautiful !!

Tina, glad your headache is gone.

I just finished Skyping with my daughter and her son. This is the DD that lives in Southern Missouri He looked at the computer & asked his mom "where NaMaw was". so she called & we spoke. He cooked me soup & ice cream (yes he "cooks" is ice cream cones,) and then finally he made me cookies. When we got done he kissed the computer screen & told me bye bye NaMaw.

I so wish we lived closer to them.

Tina, your comment on the ice cream made me smile--thanks. And so sorry about the flowers. They were from my 3 friends that I go to ceramics with. If I am up to it, they are going to stop by next Tuesday & take me out to eat lunch. I so hope that I am up to it.....but then if not there will be the next week.

Good morning. I'm going to cook for this rainy weekend ahead. So shopping after my kid gets to school is on my agenda. I'll do paperwork and get ready for the months ahead today. Sounds like a plan.
I hope everyone has a good day.

I got Teddy to school with his lunch. I shopped and came home and put that away. I fed the dog. Got the trash ready for the dumpster.
I'm about to toss some apricot chicken into the crock for a couple of meals. I am really into oriental foods this week. I had beef stir-fry with noodles, fried rice and now the chicken will be served with rice too. Next week will be something Italian or something.

Good afternoon.

I had a full day yesterday...it was quite an event watching 40 children who cannot skate on the ice, it surely kept us 5 volunteers busy lol

Today was just a clean and mop day...waiting to start supper. Well unless you all want to send some leftovers my way grin

I know what you mean juniegirl. We're at Gingers right now and it took 5 hours to get here. Just too far. Colt had a 100 days so school celebration today and we went. Glad your friends are keeping tabs on you.

Tina ginger and I watched a cooking show today all about crock pot cooking. They even made a pepperoni pizza.

Depending on how one drives, it takes between 2-1/2 and 3 hours to get to my daughters. When I spoke to her she made reference to "when you come next" If it were not for the about 10 miles of 5 lane-in-0ne-direction- highway, I could simply get in the car & go to see her by myself.

My DH made a comment the other day "I do not know how I am going to be able to go to Valarie's when she has the babies"...well, if he ain't going, I am.

Yes Tina, of course you are 100% right. Which is why I had this done right when I did....so that I would be healed when Valarie needs me.

Going to bed now---G'nite & sleep tight everyone. "see" you all tomorrow.

I am going to leave the laundry for tomorrow. Rod will be gone, so it will be a good time and then he will be ready, laundry wise, for the week ahead. Today I do not know what is on the agenda. I am still drinking my coffee....and eating oatmeal cookies I found in the freezer from Christmas. shewinks

I have my first load drying and a second load washing (old cleaning towels). I have shredded hash browns cooking towards breakfast/lunch. I took my kid to school and stopped at the store for weekend needs and frozen hash browns looked good. So that's where I'm at.

Good evening all....I have been at my daughters all day, she had a doctor's appointment and her friend came over to cut my hair while I was there. Can't beat the deal of having the hairdresser come to you for $20. I haven't had my hair cut by a stylist in a year, it felt good.

I have been going over the past months bills...once again we spent more than we took in. At this rate we will be in trouble. Time for more cut backs and drastically.

I'm glad you got a haircut, Sunny. I haven't gotten my hair cut by anyone else for over 12 years and it was at least 20 years since the one before that one.

Yes, glad you got a haircut, Sunny. I would like to get one but Rod seemed so upset when I got my last one, many months ago, that when he went last time to get his hair cut, I did not get mine cut as well.

I am going to read a bit then I will be off to sleep. Good night everyone wavy

If I had thinning shears I wouldn't need to get it cut by a hairdresser...I cut it myself but my hair is so thick that I have to give in at times to have it thinned out drastically.

Not much planned for today...GG is outside playing while DH is cleaning up a bit of snow.

I am searching Pinterest though for cheaper 'chemical free' cleaning supply recipes though.

I am glad that your hair got thinned, Sunny.
I've got the bedding all changed, fresh and new. Teddy has had a bath and been shaved and trimmed. I did Sunday routine on Saturday because tomorrow is to be cold, rainy and windy. A less convenient weather to get that done.
So my day has been going along.

Our Bedding needs to be washed as well. BUT, I am not up to the chore......so I guess we will let it go for another week. By then I will have seen the DR & perhaps I will be cleared to go back to my usual routine. Here's hoping.

Evening all,

I know I have been missing in action lately...woke up the other morning with a dizzy spell felling... I knew what it was..I get water stuck in my ears...took an allergy pill and they finally drained... don't know what triggered it but sure glad it went away...

We have taken advantage of some warmer(till now)weather... and did some spring cleaning dusted ceilings.. found a big sideboard for my dining area... so was able to cull some stuff and make a nicer looking storage area in my kitchen...and got some counter space back too.. Nicoi and I did 3 days of school work last Wed , Carrie is catching him up in the rest of it today.. I don't do the math with him , the way they teach it is beyond me...
Did get my new fridge too... we kept some shelves out of the old one. .made this one a little more efficient to store stuff.. It also has a smooth finish not textured so it's easier to keep clean.. and the wheels on it really work.. I can move it by myself... big improvement..

Our nice weather ended today... it is snowing now,,they say between 2 inches to a foot or more... boys are hoping for a snow day...

Well off to see what else I can do...been binge watching Netflix today in between cleaning bouts... sure wish I could clean carpets but to humid for it to dry without fans on...

Have a good evening all...

Nana

I too was wondering, Nana. I assumed you were just very busy. Sorry you were not feeling so well. But it sounds as if you have it all under control now, so that is good to hear. A new refrigerator is a good thing. I am happy for you. That new math thing---I am SO very happy that I am not raisisng kids these days. The math alone is just too much for me to even think about, much less help any child with.

I watched most of an Eagles (the group) special tonight on CNN I think it was. It was really good. I so wish I had ot caught it from the beginning.

Goodnight. am soon going to bed everyone. Sweet Dreams wavy

Good morning. We had a lot of rain over night. We are to get even more today. It will be fun to watch. My ditches outside are holding up. So I'm good for now.
I hope you all have a good day.

I am sending my weather your way, Nana. It will be cold and probably snowy. And you'll send it further east in turn. It's my fault for wishing it would rain. I got my wish. Now if it will only cut back on our drought.
