I didn't go to church again tonight so I'm sitting here waiting for the Super Bowl to start. Go Panthers. It's only cold outside because the wind is blowing a million miles an hour.

so sorry for the cough.....the Dr. said use honey??(did I understand right??) I think you need to call your pharmacist next.....gracious....coughs are the worst.

In other news & notes--I took my first bath since before my surgery---I feel whole again--I dislike shows very much !!!

It is freezing outside today...it's hard to keep the house warm on days like this.

Not much planned for today besides housework...I hope I didn't jinx myself

Good morning. We are off school today. So it will be a day of getting ready for school tomorrow. I like 3 day weekends.

Good Morning ! Tina, enjoy your extra day off. I think I enjoyed days off as much as the girls did back when they were home.
Sunny: keep warm. I so hate those days, when one cannot keep the house warm. We usually just turn on the fireplace & stay in the living room for the most part when that happens here...

Colder her today, and it looks as if it had been raining. later today I am going to go to Mom's & visit with her. Then perhaps do some shopping---we shall see.

New development: The wind in howling and it is snowing to beat the band--I guess I should turn on the news & see what is going on..
I hope this is not a long term happening.

Well, when you posted that, Tina, the snowing had stopped--then it began again. Then it stopped, so, as soon as the Post Office was open after lunch I went up & sent off my package------I no sooner got back home that the snow began again.....SMDH....I really wish It would make up it's mind already...but hey, at least I got my errand done.

I am glad you got your errand in between snow showers. I am sorry you missed a visit with your mother though. I am very glad you are home safely.

Good morning....Shrove Tuesday today.

I am watching the snow fall, it is storming out and they cancelled school. The cancellations for everything else is starting to pile up.....it's sad though because the local churches depend on their pancake suppers for an added income.

I'll be doing some sewing and baking today.

OH Great..it is snowing again....looks like I will not be going to ceramics---well I can hope it stops..hopefully I can go in late.

It's back to school for me for the short week. I am ready.

I got a mess of stuff done this morning. And I'm not done. I wish I was this productive all the time.

I am happy that you got a lot done, Tina---it does feel good, I will say. Not to worry, you will get done what needs to be done--and besides, I think you accomplish a lot in a day's time.

Last night I finally felt well enough to go downstairs into the basement to clean up form wrapping Christmas gifts. I worked for several hours..and yes it looks like I did not do much. but oh well, what I did needed done.

I just got in from plowing snow...and it's still snowing. I still never got the sewing or baking done. I'm glad that the two of you had a productive evening/day time. Today I just can't seem to catch up on things.

I have a LOT of days like that where I seem to get nothing accomplished...and days where I work & work but it does not look like I did a thing... Not to worry, Sunny---Sadly, all that you wanted to do will wait for you.

I go on strike all the time. I take a lazy day. No one notices.

I could be wrong, James, but I think we are going to not do our work---and so we will be "on strike"

Good morning, Ash Wednesday today.

Over a foot of snow has fallen once again...and colder temps are moving in. I have to shovel my roof but that can wait until tomorrow.

James, we are striking against cooking, housework and running errands. Are you in?

I have to go to town later, my daughter has dental work to be done and she can't take the baby with her.

Good morning ---- cold and windy here. They say more snow to come later. IF I find I have an errand that cannot wait, I will do it this morning I guess. I do need to go to the bank, I so wish we still had a bank here in town.

Good morning. Another weird weather day here but I'll take it. A regular school day today. And I'll work on some cleaning. But first, coffee.

I have eaten a good breakfast and am on my 3rd cup of coffee. Before I ate I filled my finch feeder and my sunflower seed tray.

The Blue jays & the cardinals have coming out of the woodwork. But then I think it is supposed to snow again at noon. I guess they are bulking up for that.


I will see what other things I can get done after that. perhaps some bookwork.

You wrote book work and I said "Oh yeah" I had some to do also. But it is done now.

LOL well I am glad that I could be of service. Now if I would just do mine...LOL

Still snowing......and it has been since around noon.....We were going to church, but now I think we will stay home.

I guess it can be Ash Wednesday here at home. I still have my palm........I guess we could make our own ashes........

I was gone most of the day...at least my daughters errands are done, mine will follow on Friday.

No wet weather. It is dry and very summer-like.
I had to rush Teddy's valentines together for his class. They are celebrating tomorrow instead of Friday as originally planned. They have a school-wide thing going on Friday so the party is being bumped up. Teddy's class is making it more of a Chinese new year celebration than V-day. They are having orange chicken and some type of noodle dish. I took in a bunch of fortune cookies yesterday and donated $20 towards the food. It is going to be fun. Then they will bring home the valentines.

Tina, Colt's class is celebrating tomorrow instead of Friday too. He is out of school Friday and Monday for some reason. It's some kind of holiday. He can't wait to give out his Valentines cards.

It's supposed to be 14° here Sunday morning. I know some of you live with that all the time but I'm dreading it.

My post time says yesterday. The hour is correct but the day is wrong. I think it was fixed for a while.

Yes the dates are wrong on the posts. I don't pay any attention. Monday is presidents day, no mail, etc.
It's going to cool off to 87* on Sunday here.
