Hi all,

I am remembering the playdough days... hated that stuff,,, do think it is less sticky now... we did the kinetic sand in a large Tupperware type bowl for Derek when his anxiety was bad ...he would just run his hands thru it and it calmed him... still have it put away just in case...

We have had sprinkles here last couple days.. supposed to get snow in mtns soon too.. hope it stays up there... so tired of the cold... my tulips are coming up... would be nice to see them bloom this year, cold killed them last yr.

Nicoli and I did 3 big projects for school this week... experiment for science..had to write it up in a report form, an orginal story using plagerism as the subject... and a report in social studies... we are now 3 weeks ahead in his classes... have I said I really don't like the 4th grade much .... LOL!

I finally got hubby to make a dr appt for a check up... we go tomorrow.. Nicoli will have to go with us if Carrie has to work.. she has been working for 10 days straight... she is worn out... they are changing all the store procedures and getting ready for a remodel too.. she is training to be the bookkeeper too for when the current one retires soon,,, I am afraid she will get sick if it keeps up...

Well off to start my dinner... we will be eating early , I have to go to bed early these days to keep up with school, house and kids

Nana

I remember 4th grade being a difficult year too. Glad you're ahead. Still not a fan of playdoh.

It was 78° and sunny here today. I think we're getting a little rain this weekend but the temps are supposed to stay warm.

I have been eating like a pig lately. Being stuffed makes me feel tired and sluggish. Got to get it under control.

Hope the ice goes away Sunny.

Good morning.

The freezing rain has finally stopped....it is a mess out there. This is the strangest Winter ever.

I have just spent over an hour trying to reinstall a new antivirus this morning...same kind just a newer version, my old one expired at midnight. Now to see what problems arise while it is running for the first time.

I hope you don't have any problems from your antivirus thing, Sunny.
Good morning. I'm up but my body is protesting. I need coffee. That will help.

Good Morning.

Both of my IT son-in-laws have both set me up with free anti-virus programs. I am not really happy with either.
Right now I have Panda, and while it is not bad I most certainly would not buy it.

As it is now I am constantly having to run my own scans---I have the program set to run on a certain day but it usually does not--at least not that I can see.

I know people said they do not care for Norton but I LOVED it--and at some point I am going to go back to the upgraded version of that.

Coffee---I have some but I am trying to make myself get used to that "Stevia" sweetener stuff.
At this rate I may well stop drinking coffee if I have to use it, instead of sugar or Splenda. winky

I had to reboot this morning to clear away some issues. I have had AVG free for several years and I love it.
And I drink my coffee black. So many problems averted that way.
I am off to school.

I had AVG at first. It kept letting in minor viruses. It just annoyed me.

I can drink black coffee IF it is on the weak side. I REALLY prefer such as Vanilla coffee creamer in my coffee. But I use 2% plain milk instead to avoid the extra sugar. I can do plain tea--I may have to switch to that I guess.

Postman just came & told me that the heavy rains that were predicted have moved south of the area and we no longer have to worry about that. (gee I hope he is right)

I hope he is correct also, Carol.
It must be nearly spring. I stopped at the store with my 3 things on my list. And came out with four heavy bags. All kinds of lovely food was popping into my head. Usually it's blank as far as meals go. But the store was chock full of organic foodstuffs tempting me. I will forgo the usual corned beef this year but I've go things to cook up.

Well the bank book is balanced--YAY me !!

I like corned beef & cabbage, Tina..but Rod does not..so I will just pretend the day does not exist when it comes to meal time.
Also, I realized I spend way too much $$ on food. Life would be so much better if we did not have to eat...

Now to clean up and go to the Care-plan meeting for my MIL.
Really a water-haul but hey, at least if there is something I should know, I guess this is a good time to tell me.

See you all later.

Not sure what a water-haul means but it sounds monotonous. How is your mother doing?
I bought cabbage and potatoes today. That is cheap eating. I will cook half of the cabbage and make cole slaw with the other half. I'm the only one who likes it so I don't get it often.

A water haul is: "a fruitless effort".

Mom is doing much better than we thought she would. She pretty much had decided she was going to die--then when she figured out that it would take some time to do so, but she would recover, it was all suddenly OK.
Thing is she listens to her own drummer. You see, we kids are still little people and so she should not listen to us at all.

The potaotes & cabbage sounds yummy, Tina.

Good morning.

The sun is shining and I have two grandkids here...I wonder what it is like to be bored with too much time on one's hands.

I am glad your mom is doing well Junie.

It must be a pure joy to be able to shop for fresh produce like you can Tina...you are so lucky.

I reinstalled Bitdefender...I find it o.k. and they allow you three devices for $38 per year.

Have a good day everyone.

Good morning. I had some good sleep last night. It's going to be a good day. Although a rainy afternoon and night.
Yes, I am lucky to live here and have so much fresh food available to me. I am thankful for it daily. I truly am. Most of the time I find eating an adventure. And then, once in a while, I suffer from food fatigue and nothing sounds good. That is sad. But it rarely happens in the spring.
I hope everyone has a great day.

I too slept well last night. I think may have slept 10 hours. I guess I needed it.

It is sunny out & mild in temperatures. They say we will get clouds, but so far we have not.

Sunny enjoy those kids. One day when they're grown, you have plenty of time for quiet.

Today is bill paying & such.

I stopped to shop on the way home after taking Ted to school. And decided that a pan of lasagna sounded good for meals. So I bought no-boil pasta and threw that together with what I had around. My mozz was still good but it wasn't going to be a lot longer. I skipped ricotta and dumped in spinach and ripe olives and other fun stuff. I just popped that into the oven. It will be good reheated for a couple of days. I also have sweet potatoes and my other stuff I bought this week to go make meals. I'm set for a rainy weekend.

12:11pm....IT is fun to have meals made up ahead--good for you, Tina

I have much of my bookwork done--I am just taking a break. and I am getting hungry. As it turns out, I have a lasagna roll left for my lunch. I hear it calling my name.

Tina, glad you are stuffed. That is a good problem to have IMO.

The DH & I went out to eat tonight using the "Gift Certificate" that Emily & her family sent us for Christmas.
We did not have a reservation & they still got us right in.
Then on the way home we stopped at our favorite frozen custard place & had "dessert".
That too was a Christmas gift from Emily & her family. That part was kinda cute. Emily put a $10.00 bill into a small sticky note paper, folded it up & put "Annie's Gift Certificate" on it. I had to smile when I opened that at Christmas.

Anyway, I am soon off to bed. Sweet Dreams to you all.

Good morning.

I am glad you got to go out for a 'date' Junie grin

Not much planned for today, usual housework and such....DH is gone to run his own errands, of that I am glad.

Junie, glad you had a good night out.

Tina that lasagna sounds good and I like left over lasagna. Interesting isn't it cuz I don't like a lot of stuff warmed over, but lasagna and spaghetti are better the next day in my opinion.

Sunny, I thought about you when Ginger told me she invited a friend of Colt's to go to a ballgame in Alabama with them. She drove 5 hours with two 4 year olds in the backseat. She figured they'd go to sleep hahahahahaha. If it rains she's gonna be stuck inside all weekend.

Good morning.  I tried to sleep so tonight wouldn't be as hard with the time change. It didn't happen.
It is a day for laundry. We seem to have used more than usual this week. I'm wasn't sure how that happened. Then I remembered Teddy was ill a couple of days. That'll do it. I'll get through it all, though.
That is a good gift to use up, Carol.
Sunny, do you still have both grandkids?
Sheri, Ginger is one brave lady. I hope she finds something to do with the boys during down times.
Someone needs to open a new coffee house. Tag!

That theory about sleeping extra, Tina...my DH said he & I should have gotten up earlier so as to make tonight easier---- why

Sheri: your DD was very brave to take 2 4 yr olds in the car. You must let us know how it all ended up working out.

Yes Sunny we had a good time. I hope all is going well with you and the Grands.

Today is a housework & MIL's bookwork/pay her bills sort of day.
